Top Bolognese trattoria! Recommended by locals, you can enjoy authentic local Bolognese food. The ragù, the crecentines, and the tortellini are amazing… the best in Bologna. We'll be back!

We stopped in Bologna just for this trattoria, on our way from Florence, and made a reservation two weeks in advance specifically to try their famous lasagna, which they say is only served on Sundays. When we sat down, after ten minutes the staff informed us that there was no lasagna today, because “something was wrong” with them. So – the dish we had planned the whole trip for was simply not available, and no one informed us about it in advance. An additional disappointment: since we would have had to pay a penalty if we had canceled the reservation, we ended up eating something else. However, we were not offered any apology, discount or compensation, even though the omission was clearly on their side. It’s a shame, because we were genuinely looking forward to an authentic Sunday lunch in Bologna. Unfortunately, this kind of attitude towards guests leaves a bitter impression, regardless of the reputation of the cuisine.

I went because of the many positive reviews. The food is good, but the portions are small considering the price. The staff is very kind. The atmosphere is nice. Service is quick. Again, the only downside is the quantity. I ordered the cod, and it was a small piece; a small square for €25 was truly excessive.

Durante una visita alla città di Bologna, abbiamo scelto di pranzare in questa trattoria (avevamo prenotato per tempo). Locale molto bello vicino alle piazze centrali, abbiamo pranzato nella sala ricavata da una vecchia ferramenta, molto bello! Cibo spettacolare, abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. I tortellini e le tagliatelle meritano da soli il viaggio fino a Bologna!! Abbiamo assaggiato anche la famosa cotoletta alla bolognese, molto buona. Personale gentile. Consigliato!

16/10/2025: I've been there like three times, beautiful place and delicious. Impeccable service, very kind and helpful staff, and the pizzas aren't at all heavy. The last time I was there, I had like three pizzas/focaccias and they were really good, so much so that I want to eat more and more. 🥰😽🩷
13/10/2025: Excellent pizzeria! Yesterday I went with my friend, and from the moment we arrived, we received incredible service. We ordered two latte macchiatos, a Punto G pizza (the most delicious I've ever tasted), and another pizza my friend ordered. Although I don't remember the name, it was also very good. The service from the man and woman serving was excellent; they were both very kind and attentive. They noticed we were struggling with Italian and helped us with our order in English. Before leaving, we ordered a cappuccino and another latte macchiato to go, since they were about to close. Both the drinks and the food were delicious, well presented, and served piping hot. We saw that the restaurant has several awards, and after trying their food, we believe they are fully deserved!!! Congratulations. Fun fact: I decided to visit this pizzeria because a few weeks ago, I passed by it on a bus and saw them helping a woman who seemed to have fainted outside. That gesture made me notice the place and want to check it out, I'm so glad I did :)

13/09/2025: They didn't let us eat at 11 pm because it was too late. A while back, they said that since it was a pub, you could eat until after midnight. We went to Monelli and definitely spent less.
12/08/2025: My only regret is the service, because the restaurant is beautiful, well-maintained, and right in the center of San Lazzaro. The food is good, and the pizzas are exceptional. Improve the service, and you'll see, you'll get 5 stars from me.
