Trattoria da Me In Bologna

The trattoria owes its fame to its victory in "4 Restaurants," but in reality it turns out to be "all talk and no action," with a menu that claims (including prices) to revisit traditional Bolognese cuisine, but fails to do so. The tagliatelle that won the contest, the authenticity of which is now seriously questionable, are served overcooked and with a ragù that keeps recurring for hours. The staff, who look at you condescendingly and can't hear you because they're distracted by earphones, completes the picture. There's much better in Bologna.

First of all, congratulations, congratulations, and congratulations to the staff who helped us choose traditional Bolognese dishes. They were attentive and very helpful. We were delighted with the tagliatelle with ragù, the agnolotti stuffed with braised veal, roast meat sauce, and Lambrusco reduction, the cheese and cold cuts platter with tigelle and crescentine, and finally, the royal cotoletta alla Bolognese. What can I say: well done. We felt right at home.

So here I had the pleasure of tasting authentic pasta ragu from Bologna. A really deep, rich and meaty sauce. Perfect! There were four adults and three children in our party, and we were seated in a kind of private room. The décor was very charming and cosy, and it almost felt like sitting at the kitchen table of good friends in Italy. The plates were beautifully presented and the food was of a consistently high standard. After the antipasti and primo, however, the cotoletta alla Bolognese was too much even for me. The good and fairly priced dishes deserve special praise. The restaurant is frequented by many tourists, but this does not detract from the overall experience. If you are in Bologna and looking for fantastic food in a very pleasant and family atmosphere, you should definitely stop here.

Amazing food, they had a table available but I was a solo diner. Definitely recommend their lasagna and their appetizers are to die for.

Durante una visita alla città di Bologna, abbiamo scelto di pranzare in questa trattoria (avevamo prenotato per tempo). Locale molto bello vicino alle piazze centrali, abbiamo pranzato nella sala ricavata da una vecchia ferramenta, molto bello! Cibo spettacolare, abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. I tortellini e le tagliatelle meritano da soli il viaggio fino a Bologna!! Abbiamo assaggiato anche la famosa cotoletta alla bolognese, molto buona. Personale gentile. Consigliato!
