Excellent quality food, the da Matteo restaurant is exactly what I expected from a Sicilian restaurant by the sea, somewhat casual service but excellent dishes, I recommend the mixed fry, the spaghetti with seafood and the octopus

I have dined at this location several evenings. The food was good and of excellent quality. The staff very well trained. Presentation of dishes done with care. I advise .

For the restaurant, I absolutely recommend it if you are looking for a simple place where you can eat a good dish :) this place offers good portions, honest prices and very fresh fish, cooked well. The 4 of us ate a lot of food and only spent ~€106.

Durante la nostra giornata di mare a San Gregorio, ci siamo fermati in questo bar ristorante per una pausa caffè di metà mattinata. Vista la cordialità del proprietario, abbiamo deciso di prenotare un tavolo anche per pranzo. Menu molto vario, con specialità di terra e di mare. Noi abbiamo optato per un ottimo primo piatto al nero di seppia, una spigola arrosto e un merluzzo panato arrosto. Tutto davvero molto buono e, cosa non da poco, accompagnato da un ottimo servizio. Ottimo anche il compromesso qualità prezzo. Consigliato

Pizzeria Torn'a Surriento

19/08/2024: We went to this pizzeria on holiday in August 2024. Appetizers with bruschetta, and normal chips and frankfurters, and also the various pizzas offered, all good. And the managers were also friendly and kind.
18/08/2024: We went last night with friends for the first time. We ordered some meat aperitifs, the place was full and we waited a few more minutes... but since it's Saturday we can do it. Really high quality meat openers! Messina chops and sausage are mouth-watering, tender meat, accompanied by a side dish of french fries and pan pizza. Pistachio and mortadella pizza, my favorite! well-leavened, light dough and high quality mortadella and pistachio. To finish we had some very good fruit cocktails. Super friendly waiters and always with a smile. The owner is very kind and tries to please the children in every way. We had fun with karaoke and entertainment.

13/05/2024: The smell is good but with a lot of edge and few condiments although it is too thin in the center
11/04/2024: I don't recommend it on a Saturday, unfortunately I wasn't happy. I book a table outside, we arrive on time... after 30 minutes they take the lead... to drink after another 15 minutes... a single waiter who manages the (full) mediocre fried joint outside... mediocre pizzas, poor food and portions. From 9pm we got up to around 11.30pm the only thing that was on average fast was the bill which in my opinion was a little high. I don't know if I will return but certainly not on a Saturday. It's a shame, the place is nice but it couldn't manage... I can't imagine the delivery.
