Authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. Matheo has been running the place for over 50 years. It's well worth the experience. I highly recommend it.

We would recommend this restaurant anytime. We came with six people without a reservation, and even though the restaurant was very busy, we were allowed to eat there. We were served quickly, and despite a mistake in our order, the server brought the correct dish immediately and without discussion. The food was very good and at a very reasonable price.

A wonderful atmosphere and excellent cuisine – plus a beautiful view of the sea and the sound of the waves. Everything here is perfect! Definitely worth it!!! I recommend it!

The food quality is good, but you can't leave an entire room to just one person to serve all the tables. Besides, the poor guy was running around doing what he could... a disservice that kills everything else... hire more staff, since the food is good!

A historic restaurant in San Gregorio Bay. Here you'll find traditional Sicilian seafood dishes. Everything is good, but they could improve the service and some of the dishes. But I consider it one of the best in the area.

Historic family-run place, excellent quality, prices for the wonderful place you are in, ridiculous... you pay for the spectacle of the San Gregorio beach, you might as well not eat 🤣🤣🤣... the gnocchi alla matteo were wonderful, mussels, rocket and spicy sauce!!!!!

08/08/2025: What can I say? I went there with a friend and we ate a series of unpleasant fish dishes, each one better than the last, accompanied by an excellent local wine. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was very popular.

12/08/2025: Nothing to say. Everything was perfect. They seated us, despite the late hour, welcoming us with great courtesy and kindness. All the dishes served were excellent and carefully prepared. Honorable mention for the lobster sauce: special.
09/08/2025: Attention to detail, dishes carefully crafted and executed to perfection. Superb wait staff. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Compliments to the entire staff!
