But this osteria deserves a true Michelin star, in its most typical Friulian tradition.
The scent of Friuli is evident as soon as you enter, the comfortable atmosphere, and the super-friendly staff make you feel at home.
The dishes are traditional, from the classic Cjarson pasta—a first course or dessert? Delicious—to the Osvaldo prosciutto (a real treat) and lamb chops, all paired with local wines!
Finishing with a dessert served with a local vegetable will simply make you smile with joy.

The name "trattoria" doesn't do justice to the quality of the product these gentlemen create. This is a restaurant that pays attention to detail and uses high-quality products. Their 70 years of experience in the restaurant business are evident even to the untrained eye. Sincere congratulations.

A very friendly welcome and service from the waitresses. The appetizer plate for four was a delight. The main courses, spare ribs, tagliata, and one with porchetta, were simply delicious, along with the house-made schioppettino. And then the desserts, homemade and wonderful. We'll be back.

What makes a small village restaurant so special is its hospitality and delicious dishes. Two antipasti to share, two primi, including the cjarsons (mentioned in a previous review), and a dessert accompanied by a fine bottle of wine provided a wonderful end to our holiday.
Friendly people who also knew how to handle our dog.

fresh and young, with enthusiastic and smiling young people...which is no longer a given (I'd say...in fact...)!!
Delicious, tasty, and reasonably priced dishes. Superb wine.
Congratulations to everyone!! My husband, Harden, and I will definitely be back, even for a day trip...keep it up. See you soon!

Wonderful experience at Trattoria da Mario.
The staff was not only extremely friendly (quality is increasingly hard to find), but also very knowledgeable and professional.
The food was truly excellent; I loved the lamb's lettuce with peaches, cheese, walnuts, and raisins, and the truly mind-blowing cjarsons.
All accompanied by excellent local wines, always expertly recommended based on personal taste and perfect pairing.
