Trattoria da Luciano In Crocetta del montello

Trovato per caso, in realtà diretti in alto ristorante trovato chiuso. Beh...non potevamo capitare meglio! Ambiente rustico e raccolto, personale gentilissimo e competente nel consigliare tra le varie proposte del menù. Personalmente, amando la carne, ho preso una battuta con olive taggiasche magistralmente eseguita e una stratosferica costata di manzetta prussiana da oltre 1 kg (condivisa con marito!) che è andata giù come burro. Prezzi assolutamente in linea.

Sunday family lunch, nice and welcoming environment, the staff is extremely kind and professional. The food is excellent, both in terms of raw materials and processing, compliments to the Chef. We are from Brescia and when we are in these areas it is our favorite stop.

Passed by chance while reading on the internet on a weekday. Nice place not very big that makes you feel at home, the waitress is friendly. We chose a starter and 2 mushroom fillets, which were delicious to say the least, they melted in your mouth. The only flaw is the side dish of potatoes which in my opinion was a bit poor, they could have added a few more potatoes. My husband also had dessert, a tart with a scoop of ice cream. I tasted it and I must say the tart was good but the ice cream was not to my taste, as a former ice cream maker I am very demanding when it comes to ice cream. The bathroom is very clean, modern and all new which makes you appreciate the place even more. The bill is quite a bit above average, but you can feel the quality. The owners were also kind and we even had a chat with them. Must try, congratulations.

The place is welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. The meat is definitely the strong point of the menu, tender and cooked to perfection. The Fassona steak, fresh and tasty, deserves separate praise. The tagliolini with mushrooms, although not bad, did not fully meet my expectations. Overall, a positive experience.

In response to the owner's senseless reply: You are not a trattoria, but your name is “Trattoria / braceria Da Luciano”? Evidently it is convenient for you to generate confusion. The reality is that you are a restaurant in everything except the unjustifiable prices... off-menu dishes are convenient so as to shoot high, right? And no, ma'am, if you really want to know, our problem wasn't just the bill: mediocre lasagnetta with floury fondue and the acidic aftertaste of 'nduja, radicchio with hints and traces of ash... maybe every now and then clean the grill, service excessive and not at all elegant and the mis en place of a 1940s trattoria (but you're not a trattoria right?). Regarding the quality of the meat we ate, there was nothing to complain about. However, there is a lot to discuss about everything else (location, service, mis en place, our first course, the side dishes). Da Luciano's "trattoria" has everything except the prices, which are far higher than the Montello average - with some off-menu items costing much higher than the dishes on the menu - and in any case completely unjustified for the overall gastronomic experience.
