Delicious dishes and a family atmosphere

Delicious osso buco risotto, excellent value, but the best thing was the courtesy of the staff!

An old village trattoria/inn, the likes of which are almost unheard of these days. The atmosphere is dated and spartan, but it takes you back in time and in your mind. Quick and friendly service. They seated us right away, even though the table wasn't ready yet and we hadn't booked (but I don't think they take lunch reservations). The lunch menu only had three starters, three main courses, and three basic side dishes available, plus a few extras; however, both the goulash and the pasta pasticciata were delicious, and the portions were just right. During the week, for €10 per person for lunch, we got a main course (I had the aforementioned main course and my daughter a main course), a side dish, water, and a coffee. At the cash register, you'll find an all-female staff, who aren't very talkative, but are neither efficient nor courteous. Highly recommended for those who—like me—appreciate these timeless establishments.

Every now and then I meet up with friends for lunch. I haven't had the chance to go for dinner yet, but those who have have spoken highly of it.

On the evening of November 1, 2025, we dined at Trattoria Jole in Legnano for a lovely dinner with friends, a party of 26, and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was warm, the staff friendly, and the dishes tasted like home. We started with Lombardy cured meats and pickles, which were immediately delicious. Then came the main courses: Jole's famous cutlet with gorgonzola sauce (the bomb!), polenta with braised beef, and sliced ​​steak and polenta with donkey stew, all truly tasty and plentiful. The service was good and always smiling, despite the large number of us. Parking is also quite convenient, easily found in the surrounding streets. In short, a truly wonderful evening, we ate well and had a great time: definitely a place to return.

Ho pranzato diverse volte da Jole in pausa pranzo. Menu fisso con tre scelte per ogni portata. La qualità del cibo è abbastanza buona, il personale è abbastanza gentile. C'è un po' di confusione e di fretta perché è molto frequentato ma ci sta. Prezzo nella media

Posto scoperto grazie ad amici, esperienza davvero bella sotto tutti i punti di vista, personale cordiale e professionale, cibo tradizionale milanese ottimo con un rapporto qualità prezzo davvero buono. Consigliato!!!
