Finally! A sign that says "trattoria" and that lives up to its promise.
Trattoria da Jole, an entrance with a vintage counter, rooms, one of which has a fireplace, red and white checked tablecloths on the tables, classic table settings, trattoria-style plates and glasses, clean and well-arranged. The atmosphere is warm, with a coffered ceiling. It feels like stepping back in time...
The menu isn't very varied, but I like it that way: a classic appetizer, three first courses, and three second courses, gives a sense of quality and dishes prepared with love, few but good.
The price is absolutely reasonable.
I didn't know about Trattoria da Jole, I went there with friends and I definitely think I'll be back.

The place presents itself as a typical 1980s trattoria, with a decent menu. Unfortunately, the food quality doesn't match the menu: risotto with ossobuco (rice boiled with saffron and meat topped with it), and instant polenta with donkey. A little disappointed by the other reviews that describe it as an excellent place; the service is "rushed." The trattoria-like pace is fine, but not in the evening.

Pasta e fagioli was a bit salty.
Pork loin was good.
Service was a bit confusing but quick.
Prices were reasonable: first course, second course, and side dish were €13.
Nice atmosphere, but it's a shame the pasta was too salty.

A lovely, traditional trattoria. There are other gems like this outside Milan. You'll feel right at home and eat well! We'll be back!

Traditional Lombard cuisine restaurant. The place is spartan, like the service, but the focus is on good food. The ossobuco was a shame, as the meat was a bit too tough. The risotto alla Milanese was good, as was the donkey stew.
