Basic place, good food, reasonable prices

Excellent and affordable. They also offer a fixed-price lunch with half portions. Parking is almost nonexistent, but you can leave your car on the slow-moving street in front without any problems. I don't think they're open in the evenings, and that's perhaps the only downside. They accept meal vouchers.

The pasta all'amatriciana was delicious, I soaked in the sauce. I said I was in a hurry because I was returning to Sicily, and they were very quick. Thanks, see you soon.

I had lunch with a friend and we had a wonderful meal!! The interesting thing is that in addition to the classic Roman dishes, the menu changes daily and they print it daily! We had two mozzarella in carrozza and a rustic antipasto (a mix of cured meats and cheeses). I'm usually disappointed by these combinations, but this time both the cured meats and cheeses were truly delicious: not the typical supermarket fare. I continued with an excellent gricia (with crispy bacon, just the way I like it), while my friend had a tagliata (a thinly sliced ​​steak) topped with a cacio e pepe cream. I didn't taste the meat, but he assured me it was excellent!! We washed it all down with a liter of house white wine. To finish, we shared a delicious crema catalana with two coffees. For a hearty, delicious, and flavorful lunch, we spent €40 total. The only flaw was that they took a really long time to bring the tagliata. I waited at least ten minutes for the pasta, and by the time the meat arrived, I was almost finished. The place was very busy, but a little more attention wouldn't have hurt. The place was very noisy, but fun and authentic. We found a diverse crowd at lunch, including blue-collar workers, office workers, couples, and families. It was a visual treat to see such diverse people eating together.

The place is large and simply furnished. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I think for the price, it's hard to find better (it's no coincidence that I saw so many people at the tables).
