I had the Prosecco, Pappa Al pomodoro, and wild boar with pasta. Everything came out fresh, was delicious, and the staff was very kind. Would definitely eat here again.

I live in Santo Spirito, and I come here very often. Excellent food, a family atmosphere. A trattoria like few others these days.

The Airbnb wasn’t fully cleaned yet, so the host recommended a nice restaurant across the street. I went there and was very satisfied — it had a great atmosphere, reasonably priced pasta, and friendly staff.

We ate here at Trattoria Ginone 1949 last night on an Eating Europe Tour with Nadia and had to come back tonight, amazing food and service, best we have had so far 2 weeks into our holiday.

The place was packed even though it wasn't a weekend, so I definitely recommend booking. The staff was clearly always in a hurry but very helpful (they even taught me how to uncork and pour wine!). The food was spectacular; we had three starters, cantuccini, and vinsanto for dessert, all washed down with a nice Chianti. Great experience, highly recommended!

Fantastisk restaurant. God mat og fin atmosfære. Var på restaurant ukes tur i Firenze, og var her å spiste 2 ganger. Spør etter den beste grappen, og fantastisk dessert. Selvfølgelig glutenfrie alternativer.

11/11/2025: If you like beef you have to try the Ossobuco alla Fiorentina, the beef was so tender, the sauce flavour it’s delicious and the potatoes very good cooked, also we tried the ravioli, very creamy and overall very good flavours, the place is cozy and not that busy at least on the time we were there November/Monday. The price is pretty decent for the tasty food you get and the service was very fast.
