Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere.

We had an incredible meal at Da Ginone From the truffle menu, which feels very luxurious to the specialties on the normal menu, showcasing meats and cuts you don't normally come across. What sets Da Ginone apart from other restaurants however, is the service. From the moment we walked through thr door, we were greater like old friends. A truly wonderful evening.

Excellent experience in this trattoria not far from Piazza Santo Spirito, the place where I "rest" when I visit Florence. Small place but with well distributed and spaced tables, welcoming environment, with classic restaurant furnishings and equipment. Young and friendly staff; I also had fun with the waitress' uncertainties: they had never brought me a coffee before opening the menu and ordering something! The menu presents some of the typical local dishes, I was looking for the lampredotto which was present either as a ragù for the pasta or as a second course. I ordered Florentine tripe as an appetizer with the beans all'uccelletto and as a second course fried lampredotto meatballs with green sauce: it's a shame that the beans were served too late, otherwise I would have given a higher rating, seeing as it was all really good, including the first one ordered by my wife and the mixed platter my daughter ordered. In any case, the owner, after tasting the beans, recognized the mistake, did not include the amount of the dish in the bill and also offered me an exquisite local bitter: chapeau! The house wine is excellent, a Chianti DOCG, offered in a 1 liter flask, with a personalized label with the name of the restaurant. Correct account. I will definitely and willingly come back!

Had a very nice lunch there yesterday, and tried the best pasta on my trip so far!! Admire the decor!! The owner (I guess) was very friendly.

Special, genuine, authentic restaurant. Very kind owners, easy going but also professional. Recently discovered thanks to a friend, it immediately became an absolute point of reference. For true lovers of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine.

When I want to eat truly TUSCAN food I always come to Ginone! From the starter (never banal), to the first course (always delicious and plentiful), to the meat... I always land on my feet!!!!! Then you end up with an excellent Portuguese latte and it remains a beautiful memory! 😊 Very kind staff, the owner Marco is very nice. I can't say enough good things about this place!

La carte du restaurant est variée , beaucoup de vins différents pour les amateurs également Tous les plats que nous avons pris étaient excellents et l’accueil était parfait Une expérience idéale pour découvrir des variations audacieuses autour de plats italiens et pour un prix plus que correct surtout au regard de l’accueil qui est parfait Une adresse qui vaut le détour , et une équipe qui mérite de faire le crochet pour partager un très agréable moment.
