A wonderful experience! Passing through the area, we decided to stop. Excellent welcome, a friendly, family atmosphere. We started with two glasses of red wine, served from a bottle that had just been opened in front of us. In a hurry, we skipped the very inviting appetizer and immediately moved on to the traditional tagliatelle with ragù! Thin pasta with ragù, just like they used to make in Lombardy, different from Romagna! Must try! Next up were two grilled fillets cooked medium-rare, with baked potatoes, just like they used to be. The meat is fantastic, and you have to eat the potatoes without worrying about the seasoning or the cholesterol. When you're at Gina's, you have to enjoy the dishes, just as they are! We finished with the apple pie accompanied by a scoop of gelato on the side: it's a treat you can't pass up. From Varese, it's a bit inconvenient, but we'll definitely be back!

Had lunch there. A la carte menu. Everything was excellent.

Excellent dinner, with a fresh and delicate beef tartare appetizer and tender and fragrant fillet steak with black garlic cream. Needless to say, everything was accompanied by a superb bottle of Franciacorta. The restaurant is simple but elegant, with friendly and helpful staff.
