In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi. An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

The BEST Gluten free pizza in town. Alex I lovely! Really attentive and did his best to make sure we ate well. I hadn’t eaten Oizza for such a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Pizza. Grande Alex!

Great atmosphere and delicious food. It was our 3rd time at Garibardi and they never failed us. Dear restaurant, Americans should be charged additional 20%, because they are loud and annoying.

Wonderful restaurant! My wife and I had our 33rd anniversary dinner here. We enjoyed it so much, it is now our favorite restaurant at the center. I'm sorry I don't have a pic of our waiter, Alex, but he is top notch.

Restaurante acolhedor num edifício antigo e com pratos tradicionais. Empregados simpáticos e atenciosos. Pasta excelente e carne também. Boa lista de vinhos locais.

Locale molto turistico.. basta guardare il menù che va dalla cucina toscana al pesce e per finire alla pizza. Eravamo tra colleghi e abbiamo preso un antipasto per 6 (abbondante e buono) e poi 5 tagliate e un filetto. La tagliata al tartufo purtroppo non vale quanto costa.. 28€ per una tagliata cosparsa di una salsa al tartufo tipo maionese… forse avrebbero fatto meglio a scrivere che il tartufo fosse in salsa e non a scaglie… nel complesso niente di particolare e prezzi alti..

04/11/2025: My daughter and I had dinner at Carabaccia on Friday, October 31st. We booked this restaurant through The Fork and chose it because it was close to our hotel. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, we had a wonderful dinner, and we got the price right. We were so impressed that we returned the following evening and had a wonderful dinner. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. Highly recommended.
24/10/2025: Worse experience than expected. There were three of us, dinner time was 8:30 p.m. It was a simple order (three pizzas); for whatever reason, the order got "lost," and we weren't served until 9:45 p.m. Despite eye contact, they didn't care, seeing that we were out of pizzas on the table. The food. It was delicious, but judging by the reviews, I expected more. The dough was tasty, but something was missing. I recommend the 3-tomato pizza, which did have a "different" flavor. I can't say I would return because I was in the city for several days and avoided this establishment. I was quite displeased with the service, seeing how other customers who had arrived later and were in similar groups were still getting their orders. Above all, I was displeased that despite trying to notify us, there was no way to expedite the order.

26/10/2025: Excellent service, pleasant and friendly. The dishes were really top notch, but the desserts were a bit disappointing ;-)
