In the village of Nogarole Rocca, an excellent little restaurant with a wide variety of local dishes. The staff is friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable for the quality.

A truly positive experience! A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with very kind and friendly staff, yet professional and attentive. The bigoli with horse meat ragù was excellent, and the quality of the meat in the main course was also very good. The desserts, in my opinion, could perhaps be improved. Impeccable service. Recommended.

What a lunch! On our way back from the Merano Wine Festival, we made a strategic and perfectly timed stop at the Da Ferruccio restaurant in Nogarole Rocca. Four of us were looking for authentic flavors, and I'd say we hit the nail on the head! The atmosphere is that of a true Veronese trattoria, authentic and welcoming. We started with a selection of cured meats and giardiniera that deserves applause: above all, the artisanal mortadella was exceptional, with an unforgettable flavor, and the cooked shoulder of San Secondo was delicious. For our first course, the bigoli with horse meat ragù was rich and flavorful, a true local classic. The dish that impressed me most, however, was the traditional knife-cut risotto all'isolana, a truly out-of-this-world specialty, creamy and exquisite. The service is fast and friendly (we even chatted pleasantly with the owner), and the atmosphere is one of tradition and quality. A place where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and rediscover carefully prepared local cuisine. Highly recommended!

A true trattoria, spacious and bright, serving traditional dishes made with carefully selected, professionally prepared ingredients. The wine list is very interesting, especially for lovers of traditional sparkling wines. Not to be missed.

Quickly... a place I've known for 50 years... and I've returned after 40. It remains a place where you can eat quality food, source excellent raw materials, and enjoy a unique wine and spirits list. Local, zero-mile, but high-quality food. I'll definitely be back.

Reading the other reviews, I'm guessing it's a bad day. We've been traveling for over three hours, and we still have three more to go. While sitting at the table, some of us stood up to read the menu on the blackboard. They were reprimanded, perhaps exaggeratedly, and asked to sit down without explaining that they would move the blackboard closer to the table. Since I was driving and had attended a dinner the night before, I asked for a first course to share with my partner. I was told curtly that we could each order at least one dish (I left most of my first course on my plate and hate throwing food away). Mortadella was €3 a slice; honestly, Filippo the butcher in Pianello is better. When it came time to pay, there were only a few people in the dining room; we stood at the cash register, but the person doing the bill kept drying glasses in front of us, oblivious to our wait. Despite everything, we ate very well. It's unlikely I'll return, especially since I almost never live in the area, and I'd avoid it anyway. This may be my first negative review; I usually avoid writing them.
