I had lunch alone, but in excellent company with the other diners! Welcoming and family environment. I had a baked cod with potatoes, simply exceptional! Flavors and atmosphere of times gone by. Professional yet familiar service. Beautiful sensations for the palate and beyond.

Trattoria da Ettore 3 out of 5 because: For me, the location is certainly the strong point of the place, even if for some it may seem simple and old-fashioned (it was actually built in place of a garage). Authenticity and a dive into the past which in my opinion is very difficult to find in Rome. The dishes were good, not exceptional, but with prices equal to the trattorias in the center (on average 10/11 euros for a first course). In my opinion, given the location, it should either offer a more advantageous price or give larger portions, which would justify the location and price! In short, give one more reason to go to this place and not another ;). Two first courses, an artichoke (a little sad) and water, bread and cover charge: 29 euros

Environment remained as it once was. Very good food, friendly waiters. Excellent quality/price ratio. Delicious artichokes. Too bad about the bread, definitely not up to the standard of the rest. We strongly recommend changing supplier.

Arrived alone on Sunday, place full and without reservation. The owner, seeing me hungry, was very understanding and kindly made me sit at a "service table" Original rustic atmosphere of the past. A leap into Rome that once was. Abundant and cheap dishes, "callo" wine from the castles. If you want to eat well and spend the right amount, you'll be fine here. My new favorite trattoria in Rome! I highly recommend it!

Gricia not tasty, and yes you read that right. For the rest the place is very nice, very good mozzarella and I tasted the gnocchi of the day with very good mushrooms! Alas, I must have chosen the wrong dish.
