My husband and I visited Trattoria da Dario in Bagheria and, as always, we had a wonderful meal. We started with a truly rich and delicious seafood appetizer: sardine meatballs, irresistible squid ink meatballs (my favorite!), shrimp cocktail, octopus salad, and crispy, light fried cod. For our main course, we chose perfectly cooked grilled sea bass, and we finished with a sweet treat: a deconstructed cannoli. Beyond the quality of the seafood and excellent value, what makes this place special is the hospitality: Dario and his staff are extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to their guests' needs. A kindness that, unfortunately, is not a given elsewhere, is evident in every detail here. For us, this trattoria has become an absolute must: every time we return, we know we'll find excellent food, a family atmosphere, and a lot of passion. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to savor excellent traditional Sicilian dishes!
