A typical Roman trattoria with delicious traditional dishes. Welcoming staff and a classic trattoria atmosphere. Prices are a bit above average for a trattoria, but still recommended!

It's no longer a trattoria but a real restaurant. We went at the start of lunch service, opening at 1 pm. The first course (classic carbonara) was delivered to us at 1:25 pm. Nothing to complain about the service. The staff are very attentive and impeccable in their work. The place is small, but I'll be very honest, nothing made me say I absolutely have to come back for lunch here.

Even though I had some preconceptions, based on the stories of some of my friends, I had a great time. The appetizers were excellent; I recommend the coratella with artichokes and the meatballs. Their version of matriciana and cacio e pepe were remarkable. Their suckling pig is worth a try. Interesting desserts, including the maritozzo and the timeless tiramisu. Professional service and fair prices. Highly recommended for a lovely evening of pampering and loving yourself.

Exquisite, traditional Roman food with a wide selection. For those with strong palates: everything is very, very tasty. Small and welcoming atmosphere. For a dinner for two, including a shared appetizer, a first course each, two glasses of wine, a water, and two liqueurs, we spent about €40 each. A must try!

15/12/2025: Excellent food. I recommend the boiled meatballs, the tripe, and the apricot and almond cake! The atmosphere can be very noisy if there's a large table at the table, which is the only downside.

11/03/2026: Review went way down when the waiter requested for tip. And when we decided, fine why not. But we had no change, and requested for change, but smallest bill was a 10... This isn't a tip culture location
11/03/2026: A nice little find that we stumbled upon while visiting the Spanish steps. Nice atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable without the over charges we have been experiencing. Highly recommend!
