En pleno barrio español encontramos este sitio que no defrauda para nada. Tienen varios tipos diferentes de pasta y las que probamos (nerone y genovesa) estaban de muerte. Los postres también están muy buenos, sobre todo el tiramisú. La atención es genial: nos confudimos en la reserva de día y aún así nos hicieron un hueco lo antes posible. Siempre agradecidos al camarero porque nos permitió disfrutar de un local típico de la ciudad. Los camareros muy amables y siempre de buen rollo, que se agradece mucho.

We were there on Saturday for lunch, we were nearby with our motorbikes, coming from Bologna and looking on the web we were looking for a nearby place to eat and we found this characteristic restaurant. Very good, genuine food and prices of the past, all superb!!!! We'll be back!!!!!

In the mood for Ravioli, we found this place nearby and booked a table online, if you want to sit outside you should probably get there just after opening at 7. This is a no frills establishment which is reflected in the prices. The Ravioli Caprese didn’t disappoint- delicious! we ordered another portion, we also tried the pasta with onion sauce as it is a traditional Naples dish, and it was tasty also, and the baba was so fresh and juicy. Their house red is only €5 a bottle! But we chose another wine ( SANNIO AGLIANICO D.O.C ) instead which was very good for €14. So with 2 vegetable sides it came to €60. The staff are efficient and friendly, I heartily recommend!

Good refreshment here we also find food and tobacconists. Good food, not abundant but just enough. Courteous staff. I will return there.

Ottimo tutto, cucina e servizio. Ma se potete mangiate all'interno se non apprezzate il rumore di auto e moto nei vicoli. Comunque ci tornerei.

28/01/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in questo posto diverse volte durante il nostro soggiorno a Ischia e ci siamo sempre trovati bene. Accoglienza calorosa tipicamente campana, la pizza veramente buonissima, non solo la margherita, ma anche quella con pomodoro e mozzarella di bufala. Il posto è all'aperto, in una piazzetta, con qualche tavolo all'interno, tanto in inverno mettono i funghi all'esterno e si sta da dio lo stesso. Il conto assolutamente in linea con ciò che si mangia. Direi che è una tappa che se passate per Forio merita.

29/03/2024: The idea is already starry in itself: to make the "funicular bar" (of the historic Central Funicular in Piazza Fuga al Vomero) a meeting and resting place, and no longer just a "transit" place. And the intention was very successful. Let's see why. First of all for the style, which represents the shape, with a welcoming external space both on the entrance side of the station and in the adjacent pedestrian area of ​​via Cimarosa, with tables and high seats for those who prefer them, and the internal space between "industrial" and fusion, like the background music selection, always eclectic and pleasant. It is very successful for its substance, for the proposal that characterizes this place as ideal for the morning coffee before starting a work day, for a quick lunch break, for an early aperitif or an evening toast. Versatile as a travel break should be and as pleasant as time to celebrate alone or in company. The cocktails are original, which also enhance the in-house production of craft beers (produced in Cilento), and which includes Lager, IPA, and top-fermented malts. The selection of trays for the aperitif is also artisanal and self-produced, always varied and based on the availability of raw materials, without rhetoric and with some experimentation (such as spicy jams). The table service is competent and above all smiling. An original, innovative, welcoming corner in the setting of a piece of history of the neighborhood and the city.
21/03/2024: Maybe because I was busy taking the funicular, in all sincerity I never stopped at this bar. Having a little more time available and not having had breakfast yet, I wanted to try it...in the end regretting never having stopped before. First of all, I would like to highlight the kindness of the staff with whom I had the opportunity to chat. Then excellent coffee and above all I took the polonaise with cream and black cherries which was delicious. Next time I will move a little early to go back and try other products.
