MY HOMETOWN IS ONE HOUR FROM NAPOLI, I was niter by my nephew 2 years to dine at CARMELA.’ , we Own Calderazzo Cucina Italians in Bangkok , Ihave had the opportunity to dine in some of the best restaurants and Eating places of Italy : without any hesitation at all I think Trattoria da Carmela is outstanding in the assurance of providing the real traditional Cucina Napoletana , curated by a gracious man ROSARIO , the scion of the family that has been running this restaurant for almost 60 years . Food excellently true Neapolitan blue, Service most attentive , Wines extensive selections, Atmosphere a charming Retro’ so much in line with BELLINI Theatre a few meters away .

Excellent welcome, excellent service, and entertainment from Carlo. He was happy to recommend what to eat and give us tips for our vacation.
A quick joke to entertain the entire dining room.
I don't know any adjectives with enough superlatives to describe the deliciousness of the food we ate.

First lunch in Naples here. Good, generous portions and quality. Very good appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The staff were friendly and cheerful; the only downside was that the outdoor seating was so close to the street that I was a bit reluctant to eat. But overall, a very positive experience.

Excellent service, Carlo was kind and professional. The octopus alla Luciana was amazing, and the pasta alla genovese is highly recommended. Very reasonable prices in the heart of the historic center.

In the chaos of the center we found this quiet little place, where we ate excellent seafood dishes at more than fair prices, for example: scialatielli alla Luciana for €14, tasty and generous portion. Also noteworthy are the Neapolitan-style cod, the broccoli rabe and the parmigiana. Quick and very friendly service. Well done!!!

Excellent food, generous portions, reasonable prices for the quality!!
I discovered it last night and went back today for lunch!!
Scialatielli alla Luciana (€12) and Baccalà alla Napoletana (€14)... mouth-watering!!
Carmela and her chef Carim are excellent!!
PS: Carlo, the head waiter, is fantastic!! And so is the owner Ciro :) ... not to mention the manager Marco... :)

We were looking for a place to have dinner... Naples is really busy... Ciro's friendliness, the welcoming atmosphere, and Marco's sense of humor convinced us.
We weren't disappointed, in fact, we went back the next evening.
Everything was delicious, and what can I say? We'll be back.

Pasta alla genovese buona, antipasto fritto mix si può migliorare. Per il servizio non all'altezza, ci vorrebbe un po' di attenzione in più per risolvere queste lacune
