Excellent experience! We stumbled upon it "by chance" on a Sunday lunchtime after we'd decided to go to the beach from Udine. We called 20 minutes early and were very helpful; the owner (I think) responded with "cumbinin" 😊 When we arrived, they were super cheerful and quick to set us a table on the garden veranda, even on a busy day for them. Fresh, local food: two excellent appetizers and an equally good first and second course. Honorable mention for the cabbage on the side; I could have eaten 20 more dishes of it. The service, the location, and the lunch crowned this sunny Sunday at the end of September. We'll definitely be back!

"A true Friulian experience! This restaurant is a must for anyone who loves traditional Friulian cuisine. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. The dishes were delicious, made with fresh ingredients and meticulously prepared. The frico, San Daniele prosciutto, and local wines were simply fantastic. The welcoming and rustic atmosphere is perfect for an evening with friends or family. Recommended for all lovers of good food!" 5 stars!

A typical trattoria in the Friulian hinterland.
We received a very friendly welcome and were given a lovely table in the garden.
As soon as we were seated, water and a bottle of wine were brought to us.
There's no menu, but the lady explained all the dishes to us very nicely and kindly.
We chose two antipasti and two first courses.
Then we had dessert (the cakes were excellent) and coffee.
Very friendly staff, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere.
We'll definitely be back!!

One evening, while visiting my relatives in Friuli, they took us to this fantastic restaurant serving traditional Friulian cuisine.
As soon as we entered, the owner immediately offered us a welcome aperitif.
As we sat down at the table, we noticed the cleanliness of the place and the efficient service from the wait staff.
The food was excellent, with generous and delicious portions.
I had polenta with cheeses as an appetizer and fettuccine with mallard duck for the main course, both dishes of excellent flavor, quality, and freshness.
At the end of the dinner, he offered us liqueurs, and the one I particularly liked was the licorice one.
Highly recommended.

Locale tipico della campagna friulana, consigliato da amici; le attese sono state ben ripagate. Servizio impeccabile, personale cortese e disponibile, cibi e bevande ottime.
Abbiamo mangiato baccalà, moscardini, paté di pernice, tagliatelle al germano reale, gamberoni, lumache e contorni varie.
Bevuto vino sia bianco che rosso, caffè, sorbetto e digestivi.
Prezzo molto buono!!!
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!!! Top!
