I must have been unlucky! An evening with 12 friends. The appetizer consisted of the usual morsels (I don't think it was buffalo mozzarella or mixed) and cured meats, accompanied (never seen in my life in an appetizer) by a hard-boiled Easter egg (it's August) and peas in a small pan. Then the heifer arrived, about 3kg, nice-looking, mature, and flavorless, accompanied by 8 portions of potatoes when we had actually ordered 5. On the other hand, the bill was steep. Simple location, friendly staff.

I had dinner with friends at this restaurant and I must admit that I was impressed by the many positive reviews, but my expectations were substantially disappointed. Let's start with the appetizer, which consisted of the usual cured meats and morsels—good ones, but found everywhere—and also included a hard-boiled egg. Next, the heifer was served on lava stone, which was tough and flavorless. The aubergines and chicken were good. Finally, anyone who thinks that going out of town to a trattoria is convenient is mistaken, because the prices are normal and in line with any restaurant of the same type.

We were in this trattoria last night, very familiar, quiet!! It was a weekday, so it was a quiet day anyway!! But we were welcomed by a girl, smiling, sunny, very kind!!! Excellent food, very simple, tasty, especially the meat that I recommend you try!!! Very affordable prices!! The place is very country, very in line with the idea of ​​a trattoria!!! We went to this place for dinner, reservations are recommended. We had a mixed appetizer of cold cuts, vegetables and some cheese, and meat. All very abundant. The meat is excellent and is served on the grill so that you can manage the cooking yourself. Honest price, excellent quality and the waitress is very good. On a negative note, I expected more choice in the first courses.

14/11/2025: We visited this butcher shop and restaurant last night and were truly satisfied. We discovered it by chance online thanks to the excellent reviews, and I must say they were all confirmed. The meat is simply excellent, perfectly cooked and of the highest quality. The owner was also very kind and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

22/10/2025: Super friendly people. Unfortunately, we were there four hours before opening. The waiter simply gave us some food that was just being prepared in the kitchen. It was incredibly delicious and one of the best things we ate on our Italian vacation.
19/10/2025: On the recommendation of some friends, we decided to try this small restaurant in Controne, the city of beans. Their specialty, the Controne bean, is the protagonist of the entire menu, from appetizers to main courses. We were served by Donato, extremely kind and helpful, who carefully recommended dishes and an excellent wine to pair. We started with a platter of local cured meats and goat's cheese, served with fresh bread. The beans in olive oil were truly delicious, accompanied by crostini and crusco peppers. The handmade pappardelle with beans were a delightful surprise: simple yet rich in flavor. To finish, we chose a dessert with ricotta and fig jam, paired with the delicious Zibibbo wine that was recommended to us. Everything was perfect: from the dishes to the service, to the welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area... or coming specifically for it; it's definitely worth it!
