A typical Ligurian trattoria. Home cooking, informal atmosphere, friendly staff. The first ones are certainly the highlights but the rest doesn't disappoint either. In the current restaurant scene, where everyone seems to want to ape the great restaurants of the upper east side (and only succeed in doing so), places like this certainly deserve to be valorised.

We had lunch today with a family of 8 adults, the theme was mushrooms for appetizer, first course and second course, the waitress told us about Bavarian mushrooms. The average price indicated on the internet of 10 to 20 euros is absolutely false. We ordered 4 appetizers with carpaccio of meat and mushrooms but without mushrooms, three flamenghille with a trio of first courses with mandillos with pesto that did not taste of basil, ravioli with mushroom sauce but without mushrooms, Ligurian rabbit without olives and pine nuts, mushrooms and potatoes baked except that the mushrooms were non-existent only lots and lots of potatoes, poor Italian-style mixed fried food with no taste. Overall the food wasn't bad but not much is tasteless, the negative review applies to the very small quantity and the exaggerated price The service average.

Delfino bianco

10/12/2024: Il Delfino Bianco is an authentic jewel in Sestri Levante. I have been to this restaurant several times and each time the experience has been impeccable. The quality of the food, the atmosphere and the service make this place an absolute point of reference. The mixed fried food is simply perfect: crunchy, light and never greasy. The cod croquettes are a delight and the pizza is a real surprise, with soft dough and top quality ingredients. The real apotheosis, however, was a meat-based dinner: cuts such as Tomahawk, Denver, Ribeye, fillet and Tuscan sausage skewers, Fiorentina and even wagyu were served to perfection. Each piece of meat was cooked exactly as requested, enhancing the flavors and quality of the raw material. The accompaniment of baked and grilled vegetables was the finishing touch for a perfect balance of flavors. The selection of wines, proposed with great expertise, completed the meal impeccably. The staff, always friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant, contributes to making the experience even more pleasant. I recommend Delfino Bianco to anyone looking for a mix of quality, authentic flavors and excellent service. I can't wait to return!
24/11/2024: Good pizza (perhaps the best in Sestri Levante), decent desserts. Prices a little high.
