This is my go-to restaurant when I'm in the Cormons/Collio area; the food is good, home-cooked, with generous portions and excellent value, even with the set lunch menu. Reservations are recommended, as the clientele is always large. It's family-run, and the friendly, helpful staff are excellent.

We happened upon it by chance at lunchtime and were greeted with extreme courtesy. The menu features delicious and plentiful local dishes. The atmosphere is simple and spotlessly clean, making us feel right at home.

A classic roadside osteria, adjacent to one of Friuli's best wineries, Sgubin. Home-style menu, authentic, good cuisine, excellent family service, good wine, and a truly relaxing experience. Must try!

14/10/2025: We stayed one night at this agriturismo, well-run by Samuel and his mother, who makes delicious and sublime cakes with her homemade jams. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, with ample parking adjacent to the property. A delicious sweet and savory breakfast is served. The owner, Samuel, is a young, enthusiastic person who loves his work. We also purchased the wine and jams, both of which are homemade. The agriturismo is well-located, in a quiet area. The center of Gorizia is about a 10-minute drive away. Highly recommended.
