A classic family trattoria, not a huge selection, but the few dishes offered are all high-quality and truly local. I recommend the roast rabbit, which I've never had in a restaurant before, but I did it there. It's called local rabbit!

Late lunch. Casoncelli and mixed cured meats typical of the area, very good.
Nice trattoria to try if you are in the area, like me, after a nice visit to Soncino.
Small, simple room, where you can relax and exchange a few words and jokes with the friendly owner.
Kind and attentive dining room staff.

Excellent trattoria on the outskirts of Soncino, with home cooking, tasty dishes, very helpful and kind staff, welcoming rooms, excellent value for money, certainly recommended. I will return if I'm in the area again. Thanks to all the staff for the delicious lunch and for the chef's suggestions.

We chose this restaurant, located just outside Soncino, for a Sunday break. The place is simple and retains the 80s atmosphere of trattorias. You are welcomed like old friends, with courtesy and a smile. The service is fast and the waitresses are courteous and able to advise. The very simple menu (a couple of starters, choice between two first courses and two second courses and very few homemade desserts).
We ordered an appetizer of local cold cuts, sweet and sour vegetables, spaghetti with tomato sauce and pumpkin casoncelli as well as wines, water and coffee. All very tasty, typical of genuine home cooking.
Prices not excessive but not too trattoria-like (we spent €40 in total for 1 starter of cured meats, 1 portion of sweet and sour vegetables, 2 first courses, water, 1/4 of wine and 2 coffees).
I would also like to recommend it for the environment and the staff... It seems that time has stopped here!

Simple and welcoming place, very nice staff and excellent advisor, unparalleled food, good appetizer with sweet and sour vegetables, pumpkin casoncelli, made by Mrs. Franca, spectacular, baked rabbit with polenta and homemade meringue, in short, everything was excellent. We will be back soon.
