Trattoria Cooperativa In Soncino

If you're looking for a restaurant, don't come here. It feels like home, but that's exactly what I was looking for. It's family-run. We shared a mixed cold cut with pickled vegetables. Everything was delicious, and you could tell it was either home-made or locally sourced. Casoncelli pasta with butter and lasagna were both very good. I had a mixed salad with radicchio and lentils. The total cost for two was €40.00.

The name reflects the atmosphere: simple yet welcoming, homey like the cuisine, good food at fair prices. Seats are limited, so reservations are recommended.

Great a leap into the past but beautiful

Excellent typical 80's trattoria, it's worth booking.

Nov 25: We tried to go on a Sunday, February 2, 2025, while visiting Soncino, but no table was available. On our way back from Verona, we finally made a reservation in the morning. The tables were antique-style, the restaurant was unobtrusive, but the welcome was excellent. During the week, there was a fixed menu, but "casoncelli" pasta was also available. A generous portion of pasta with sausage and garlic/oil ragù, stewed rabbit, meatballs, and roast potatoes and cooked herbs as a side. Everything was good and reasonably priced. We'll be back, but we'll book ahead.

A simple trattoria located in the countryside, 3 km from the center of Soncino. Authentic home cooking with an appetizer of excellent cured meats, a choice of 4-5 first courses and 4-5 second courses, all excellent and tasty! Excellent value, try it and believe it... I recommend booking.
