Trattoria Consolare In Ferentino

I've been frequenting Trattoria Consolare for years, both for aperitifs and dinners with friends or special occasions. It's a warm and welcoming place, enhanced by exhibitions by local artists that make it even more beautiful. This time I found Ilona dell'Olio's work on display—a great surprise!!! The dishes are always excellent, using top-quality ingredients, the staff are friendly, and the wine selection is excellent, with perfect recommendations. For me, it remains a must-try in Ferentino. But the best part is when Amedeo, the owner, tells you about the special of the day. Highly recommended ❤️

Had a wonderful dinner... excellent food quality. Everything was impeccable. Delicious!!! Especially the buffalo stew and tiramisu... highly recommended! The staff was very kind. A truly wonderful dinner.

Well, let's talk serious things here. The location, nestled in the historic context of the town, is beautiful. Every dish exceeded our expectations, from the appetizers to the six courses, each dish more special than the last, well-crafted and tasty. The first courses, needless to say, were superb: ravioli and sagne al vino, chicory, and pecorino were unforgettable. The desserts, too, were beautifully presented and particularly delicious. The service was simple and discreet, and the wine list was extensive. It's a shame we didn't order the second courses, because I think the meats were excellent from other tables. We'll be back to try the entire menu. Excellent value for money, and highly recommended. Kudos to you for upholding the honor of the town's fine cuisine, leaving us with fond memories of the place.

The food is always very good. Traditional Ciociaria dishes revisited with a contemporary twist are highly appreciated. The location is very basic, yet quaint. It's difficult to reach by car (you have to park a bit far away, especially on weekends). Service is average.

The place is fantastic. Beautiful and well-kept venue, wonderful service, and truly excellent food. A must-try.

Come si capisce dal titolo abbiamo apprezzato la location, ma anche la carne non era male: tagliata e tartare buone, non le migliori che abbia mai assaggiato, ma comunque di qualità. Torneremo!

Abbiamo visitato Ferentino dopo la meraviglia dell'abbazia di Casamari. Per pranzo abbiamo prenotato in questo incantevole ristorante. Ambiente molto carino e inaspettato, pranzo raffinato e tradizionale: cinghiale succulento ed abbacchio da leccarsi i baffi! Porzioni generose! Il proprietario ci ha accolto molto cordialmente e ci ha elencato tutti i piatti del giorno. adeguato rapporto prezzo/qualità. Se vi trovate a Ferentino ricordatevi assolutamente di prenotare i questo ristorante.
