A quaint restaurant in the historic center, with an attractive and well-maintained location. At lunchtime, the service was slow/distracted, despite only three tables occupied. The menu isn't very varied, but it's acceptable; freshly cooked dishes are preferable. The wine list is good, with reasonable prices. Overall, recommended, with a passing grade, but the hospitality could be improved.

We ate wonderfully! The off-menu dishes were triple the price of the basic prosciutto. The Cappello del prete was superb, the carpaccio was top-notch. Everything was delicious. The dishes were explained with care and precision.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the young, competent staff truly pampered us.
We ate both first and second courses, and I must say I've rarely eaten so well...not to mention the selection of liqueurs and grappas, everything was truly superb!

I've been frequenting Trattoria Consolare for years, both for aperitifs and dinners with friends or special occasions. It's a warm and welcoming place, enhanced by exhibitions by local artists that make it even more beautiful. This time I found Ilona dell'Olio's work on display—a great surprise!!! The dishes are always excellent, using top-quality ingredients, the staff are friendly, and the wine selection is excellent, with perfect recommendations. For me, it remains a must-try in Ferentino. But the best part is when Amedeo, the owner, tells you about the special of the day. Highly recommended ❤️

Posso dire che è una cucina tradizionale rivisitata con nuove idee.
Dall'antipasto, al primo, per arrivare ad un fa...vo...lo...so tiramisù tutto ottimo.
