I didn't want to rate the food, service and environment individually because for me this place only deserves an overall rating. In me it involves different feelings: comfort first and foremost, affection, and above all the taste not only for traditional food but also for that sensation of living in a space outside of time, in which fashion is banned. Having lunch here is invigorating especially in the years we live in, in which everything is exquisitely refined and often smoky. Five stars is all I wanted to write.

I took lamb with tomato sauce and polenta. Truly fantastic. Recommended across the board. Tried lamb with tomato sauce and polenta. Both were absolutely amazing. Totally recommended.

One of the few real family-run taverns left. Those in which, when ordering gnocchi on Thursday, they might reply: "it's not possible today, because mum hasn't been well". Polenta to order on Wednesdays, but only if weather conditions allow: it must be cold. A philosophy that follows lines of conduct born and raised in the wake of certain traditions. Authentic.

I didn't have time to photograph the first ones 🤤 Really excellent food, helpful and very friendly staff! For first courses we ate ravioli with butter and sage and amatriciana, excellent as were the second courses!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Recommended by asking a local where to have lunch who suggested this place. A dated place but very charming. You are not getting fancy presentation but good food at reasonable price. I'd go back again if in the area.

Debería venir más a menudo... Ofrecen platos tradicionales a precios realmente justos con un gran servicio. Esta noche tenían mis dos favoritas: judías blancas con aceite y cebolla para empezar, y lengua de ternera con salsa verde. Tan delicioso ❤️😋🤤

Abbiamo scelto di mangiare in una tipica trattoria romana. L' idea era di assaggiare la tipica cucina romana di una volta e ci siamo riusciti.

06/03/2025: The service was super friendly and courteous. We were served straight away. The restaurant is beautifully located in a side street, and when the weather is good you can sit on the beautifully decorated terrace. The food was excellent. Highly recommended

We had a different experience: we were a group of 10 people and we were given a table. Highly recommended
