Experience to be repeated!!! Arrived around 12pm, friendly reception; explanations of the impeccable menu (we'll lose our minds 😋)! Maximum availability in choosing combinations. GNOCCO and tigelle: MUST TRY! Adequate bill, I would venture a little high given the location of the place but, compensated by the rest. We will be back for the second courses. IT DESERVES!!!

Yes, the food is ok, the food is exaggerated but the prices for eating fried gnocchi are not super and the tigelle are absolutely super, the prices are too high

I had never been. Meanwhile the place was heated. They were quick to take the order and serve us. The food is really good and you eat..... All fresh and homemade.

We went for lunch today on S.Stefano, we waited a long time then the first courses arrived, lukewarm and quickly plated up, the lasagna was brought back all mushy and leftovers! Dry and cold tigelle Spoon desserts not fresh We won't be going back Paid a lot for service and food

Lunch with friends, good dumplings and tigelle, the first courses didn't fully satisfy anyone, the wines were good, the desserts were very good, the price was a little expensive, the environment was comfortable

Classico locale da comitiva in piena Emilia. Ottimi gli antipasti come il gnocco fritto, nella media la tigella. Primi nella media, buoni i secondi, ottime le patate arrosto. Vini nella media. Sarebbe da tre pallini, ma la cordialità e disponibilità dei ragazzi ai tavoli porta una valutazione più elevata. Pertanto, locale nella media con uno staff di ragazzi veramente bravi. Prezzi in linea per la zona.

We went to this historic Trattoria in Cognento for lunch on the occasion of a birthday; located near Campagnola, it is rustic, has a large car park, is surrounded by greenery and has many seats inside. The menu can be read on the blackboard at the entrance and is not on the tables, young staff, willing but not very attentive to details; we had a taste of mixed cured meats, all delicious (especially the raw ham) accompanied by tigelle (decent) and fried gnocco (not to our liking, it seemed raw and we could taste the flour in the dough) to which followed by a trio of first courses (truly delicious green cappellacci and tagliatelle with duck sauce, tasteless and forgettable pumpkin tortelli, with acidic and heavy to digest sauté). We didn't have dessert but only coffee and 2 limoncini. Final bill around €35.00 each but it is in line as the portions are generous.

Siamo andati a pranzo in questa Trattoria storica di Cognento in occasione di un compleanno: situata vicino a Campagnola, è rustica, ha un parcheggio ampio ed è circondata dal verde. Abbiamo preso un assaggio di salumi misti, tutti buonissimi (in particolar modo il prosciutto crudo!) accompagnati da tigelle (discrete) e gnocco fritto (non di nostro gradimento, sembrava crudo e si sentiva il sapore della farina dell'impasto) a cui ha fatto seguito il tris di primi piatti (cappellacci verdi e tagliatelle con sugo d'anatra davvero squisiti, tortelli di zucca insapori e da dimenticare, con soffritto acidulo e pesante da digerire). Non abbiamo preso il dessert ma solo i caffé e 2 limoncini.

16/02/2025: I returned after many years to this place that I once loved, but not without forgetting the reason why I never returned. A nice table with friends, including non-Italians, who I hadn't seen for a long time and the first impact was: Don't make a mess! Let me start by saying that we said goodbye inside the place and as it was early it was empty) Not wanting to ruin the evening I kept quiet. Throughout the evening we were often entertained by the manager with inappropriate jokes thinking he was being funny, but not knowing the subjects he was just heavy 😡 the good first courses, good dumplings and tigelle with wine in tow. Being a large company the price was given per couple (65 without receipt) but I assure you that at home when you were dealing with the menu it was heavy but.... Never as heavy as the manager. My advice is to first evaluate who is in front of you and then slowly start joining the companies. A good job to the owner who was very nice trying to make up for everything 😘
