Dated place, normal service, good quality and quantity food. No obvious pretensions but it doesn't leave you disappointed.

I had never been. Meanwhile the place was heated. They were quick to take the order and serve us. The food is really good and you eat..... All fresh and homemade.

We went for lunch today on S.Stefano, we waited a long time then the first courses arrived, lukewarm and quickly plated up, the lasagna was brought back all mushy and leftovers!

Lunch with friends, good dumplings and tigelle, the first courses didn't fully satisfy anyone, the wines were good, the desserts were very good, the price was a little expensive, the environment was comfortable

We went to this historic Trattoria in Cognento for lunch on the occasion of a birthday; located near Campagnola, it is rustic, has a large car park, is surrounded by greenery and has many seats inside.
The menu can be read on the blackboard at the entrance and is not on the tables, young staff, willing but not very attentive to details; we had a taste of mixed cured meats, all delicious (especially the raw ham) accompanied by tigelle (decent) and fried gnocco (not to our liking, it seemed raw and we could taste the flour in the dough) to which followed by a trio of first courses (truly delicious green cappellacci and tagliatelle with duck sauce, tasteless and forgettable pumpkin tortelli, with acidic and heavy to digest sauté).
We didn't have dessert but only coffee and 2 limoncini.
Final bill around €35.00 each but it is in line as the portions are generous.

A dive into traditional Emilian cuisine in the middle of the countryside. Try the tigelle, with a truly excellent lard pesto and the tortelli with butter and sage or with the delicious sautéed meat. Service sometimes slow on busy days, but no different than any other similar business.
