Intimate atmosphere. Very good food, but extremely limited quantities. Service practically nonexistent. The bill was quite high for the size of the portions served. I won't be back.

A secluded alley in the heart of Ancona, an intimate atmosphere, good food, and excellent service. The music selection is also good. All excellent reasons to dine here. I'll definitely be back; we always return to places where we feel good.

A great recommendation from our host! This cozy trattoria is tucked away between the beautiful buildings of Ancona. We were seated outside on a wonderful night, and were attended with polite professional service. Food was fresh, clean, and simple. Our red wine was local to the region and paired deliciously with our food. Prices were amazing for the quality of dinner and service. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for nice simple dinner in Ancona.

Antica Cantina del Porticello

30/05/2025: I'm a Venezuelan traveler with my heart in Italy. With a group of friends, we came to discover the secrets of Verdicchio in Le Marche, and we found a hidden gem: L'Antica Cantina del Porticello. There we were welcomed by Bruno, the soul of the place and our host, passionate about wine and his land. He opened the doors of his cantina with warmth, history, and plenty of flavor. Together we tasted the unmistakable Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, accompanied by authentic regional products: Fabrianese salami, ciabuscolo, local cheeses, crescia, fresh seasonal vegetables, and fruit. All served with simplicity and a love of tradition. The best part was sharing with friends, across languages—speaking in Italian and Spanish—and across cultures, but with one common desire: to enjoy the real thing. I loved it!! 🫶🏻🍷

10/12/2025: Great atmosphere, great food, poor service (we waited 45 minutes even though we were among the first to be seated). We'll return for the quality of the food... but we're worried about the service!
31/10/2025: Excellent stop for food if you are in Ancona just for one day or more. Wide choice in the menu: salads, burgers, pizzas and pastas. We decided to have a fish meal and both the salad and the pasta were super good and tasty. Wide choice of ice creams and pastries too. Recommended if you are in the area.
