Typical Piacenza cuisine in an extremely pleasant and friendly atmosphere...where no one is rushed (as unfortunately happens in many places)...and time can stand still...rediscovering the pleasure of home cooking and harmonious dining. It's a bit like feeling at home...I highly recommend it!

Good experience, a comfortable place to go chestnut hunting in company. Quiet environment. It's a house that has become a restaurant, so it's on various floors. The staff is friendly and if there's something wrong, they solve the problem immediately. They're very helpful. The food is good, they have various fixed or à la carte menus.

I've been a customer of the Trattoria for years, but unfortunately, I think the crisis is making itself felt here too... the servings have been significantly reduced, with very poor appetizers. They've removed the classic pisarei and fasò from the first courses (which are a must in Pianello).
For the second course, I was expecting a different roast coppa, but two very thin slices arrived accompanied by hospital-style boiled carrots after a 2-hour wait.
I'm sorry for Enrica and Carlo, but this time the reviews can't be positive, especially considering the final bill.

We booked lunch at this trattoria for four people. I'll start by saying that Enrica was always kind and flexible with our extended arrival time, but upon arrival we were greeted with kindness and a smile. When we ordered, we weren't given a menu with the prices of the dishes, even though we were all inclined to order one course. However, given our hesitation because everything was so good and the difficult choice, Enrica offered a sampling of all her first courses. We were curious about this proposal, but when the first course arrived—surprisingly, because it was in addition to the four first courses already offered—we were shocked to note that it was a normal portion of the course and not a so-called sampling. The explanation was that it was a sampling for them. At the cashier, however, we discovered that we had essentially been charged for four first courses each, the cost of which they didn't know until we got to the counter. We took many of these first courses away because the "samples" were too large. Basically, I think there was no fairness and I advise everyone to ask for the menu. As for the food, I fear the porcini gnocchi weren't fresh pasta but a standard industrial product.

Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff. But what struck me most was that due to problems with the Wi-Fi network, I couldn't pay by card, and they trusted me completely, telling me to do so whenever I could. 🔝

It's one of those unique places in the Piacenza valleys. Amazing cured meats, in our case, pancetta, coppa, and salami (the only flaw was that the salami was sliced with a slicer; I would have preferred it hand-sliced), then guinea fowl and tasca stuffed with rustic potatoes—all delicious. Very friendly staff. And after a bike ride, stopping in a location like this is truly a blessing!

We spent a wonderful evening enjoying Piacenza specialties, starting with an appetizer of excellent mixed cured meats, followed by delicious first courses, including the exquisite pisarei, tortelli, tagliatelle with ragù, and gnocchi with gorgonzola. Impeccable service and huge portions, amazing value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for your hospitality, see you soon.
