We stumbled upon this place by accident. The kids were hungry, and the waiter made us delicious sandwiches, generous with the toppings. The service was friendly, and the opportunity to sit among older Italians playing cards was unforgettable.

We've been to this restaurant twice and have to admit that some dishes were satisfying, others not. The place is simple, reasonably priced, and the service is lacking.

August 2025: We went to this restaurant on a Tuesday for lunch in August. We tried various specialties, and everything was delicious: Maremma tortelli, Monterotondo tortelli, and wild boar tart.
Good platter, excellent pici, but the garlic and tomato sauce was barely noticeable.
Good bulk wine, excellent coffee too.

Visiting Monterotondo I found an excellent restaurant, a classic spartan trattoria where you eat very well, handcrafted ravioli, hand-made pici, delicious wild boar, excellent desserts, fantastic quality, excellent and honest price

BAR X residents…..pastries (€1.50), coffee (€1.20) are expensive like a big city. I couldn't feel welcome.

Trattoria from times gone by... everything is genuine... and good... from the cold cuts to the cheeses... crostini... Maremma tortelli...
The only negative thing was that I took the pici all'aglione and they were very spicy...maybe it would have been better if the waiter said so before...
