Thanks to Mike, we had a special lunch here at Casottel. You made an ordinary Saturday special. Excellent, authentic dishes in a rustic setting. The sun made everything wonderful. Highly recommended!

I love places like this; they exude authentic charm, and you can feel the atmosphere (and the good food) of times gone by.
I was there for lunch; the wait staff was attentive, polite, and smiling!
I had pasta and beans, followed by cutlet with potatoes (business menu for €16), and my wife had risotto Milanese with ossobuco (€25). The bread and house red wine were both excellent and not bad.
I'll definitely be back to try other dishes, like the cassuola, which really tempted me today.
I recommend a visit.

An excellent experience at this typical Milanese trattoria. The setting pleasantly transports you to times gone by, and the warmth of the fireplace is delightful. The dishes reflect tradition; I personally enjoyed them all, from appetizers to dessert. The risotto with ossobuco and the braised beef with polenta were both exquisite. Special mention goes to the two ladies who attentively advised and accommodated guests' requests. The prices are absolutely in line with the offerings. Definitely recommended; I'll be back soon with great pleasure.

Typical Milanese cuisine, carefully prepared, in a charming vintage setting with a charming atmosphere. Spring and summer are a wonderful experience, thanks to the garden with vine trellises where you can dine sheltered from the sun. Recommended.

A historic and iconic venue that jealously guards the most authentic and time-honored Milanese cuisine. The atmosphere is rustic and authentic, typical of old trattorias. While it was once known for being a very affordable place, it has now settled into a mid-range price range, while still offering good value.
