A relaxing spot under the trees. Signora Isa is very kind. The tagliatelle with ragù and the cutlet with potatoes are excellent. The veal with tuna sauce is very delicate. The price is more than fair, but I would have liked a menu with the corresponding prices.
I've been back several times since, the food is always excellent, but the service has lost ground.

Dinner with friends; we dined in the outdoor courtyard. It was lovely for the tablecloths and the atmosphere, but the overall atmosphere was quite run-down (the interior and bathrooms were very 1960s-esque).
The menu was typical Milanese. We ordered several dishes to try a bit of everything. Everything seemed good, without too many frills, and the price was fair (about €25 for a single dish, no wine, dessert, or coffee, just water).
I would suggest improving:
- more coordinated service (every time we called a waiter, he in turn had to call another... I don't know if it was due to expertise or language barriers)
- more mosquito repellent (it was crowded)
- a little music (and some lights?) to make the atmosphere less cold.

Really nice environment to spend a slightly retro Milanese evening, very kind staff. We had the Milanese cutlet, maybe we didn't choose the best dish but it was a bit dry to tell the truth, the dessert the tiramisu and the zuppa inglese really good. I don't know 5 stars but not less than 4 stars because maybe next time we'll try something else to eat because our neighbors' dishes were very inviting.

passano gli anni ma la cotoletta "orecchia di elefante" del Casottel è sempre squisita; anche i ravioli di zucca sono molto buoni; non è un posto elegante ma la qualità del cibo è sempre ottima.
