Milanese restaurant with typical traditional dishes, we tasted all the main courses: ossobuco with risotto, Milanese cutlet with baked potatoes, cassoeula with polenta...none particularly interesting or worth it. Good level of service, unfailing friendliness, correct costs. Wine selection at the same level as the food. Traditional environment, but perhaps in need of modernization a bit, while remaining simple. Oh I forgot, the really good desserts (compliments to the cook). Still a welcoming place, but one I wouldn't recommend (I'll still be back to try it again). Milanese friends, regulars, brought me and they say that in the summer the deors is very beautiful. Traditional Milanese trattoria, which has remained authentic both in its cuisine and in its environment. The service is home-made, therefore friendly and kind at the same time. We tasted many dishes on offer and we were all satisfied. The cuisine is classic Milanese, with generous portions and real flavours. Very honest prices and rare to find in the city.

Trattoria d’altri tempi alle porte di Milano. In un vecchio edificio rurale, una porticina fa accedere al locale. Due sale, di cui una con camino, molto apprezzato col freddo di Gennaio. Menù descritto a voce: presi due primi (penne all’arrabbiata e tagliatelle al ragù) e due secondi (cotoletta e spezzatino con polenta). Una bottiglia di Barolo dal prezzo onesto e un bonet per dessert. Servizio veloce, prezzo fisso per il pranzo: 15 euro a testa. Grande spazio aperto per mangiare fuori con la bella stagione.

Trattoria Casottel in Milan is a welcoming oasis of culinary tradition. The location is typical and nice, perfect for a lunch with friends. I had lunch here today with two friends and we were greeted by attentive and friendly service.
We started with a charcuterie starter, really delicious and beautifully presented. My friends opted for classic dishes: ossobuco and stuffed capon, both very popular and tasty. Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned, the Milanese cutlet didn't meet my expectations; I would have expected a better execution.
Overall, the place offers an excellent gastronomic experience, with some room for improvement for some dishes. I recommend trying it, especially for lovers of Milanese cuisine!

Christmas dinner with friends widely agreed upon. All the numerous delicious dishes, average wine, very kind staff. To be repeated, perhaps even outdoors in summer.

Peccato che sul finire siamo stati rimproverati perché per un attimo le bimbe ostruivano il passaggio(stiamo lavorando!)
