Trattoria Casottel in Milan is a welcoming oasis of culinary tradition. The location is typical and nice, perfect for a lunch with friends. I had lunch here today with two friends and we were greeted by attentive and friendly service.
We started with a charcuterie starter, really delicious and beautifully presented. My friends opted for classic dishes: ossobuco and stuffed capon, both very popular and tasty. Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned, the Milanese cutlet didn't meet my expectations; I would have expected a better execution.
Overall, the place offers an excellent gastronomic experience, with some room for improvement for some dishes. I recommend trying it, especially for lovers of Milanese cuisine!

Christmas dinner with friends widely agreed upon. All the numerous delicious dishes, average wine, very kind staff. To be repeated, perhaps even outdoors in summer.

Family dinner at the beginning of November in this historic trattoria, an atmosphere of times gone by. Menu with few dishes but all Milanese, the cassoela is very good, a shame about the ossobuco served with white rice, so-so cutlet. Overall rating 6 and a half.

Tagliatelle al ragù’ buone,
Antipasto della casa accettabile.
Vino della casa ok.
Prezzi in linea
Peccato che sul finire siamo stati rimproverati perché per un attimo le bimbe ostruivano il passaggio(stiamo lavorando!)

Cucina decisamente tradizionale.
Pochi piatti ma accuratamente selezionati e decisamente molto buoni.
Noi abbiamo cenato fuori, sotto il pergolato. Devo dire che abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata.
Servizio alla buona e molto cortese.
Indubbiamente da consigliare anche perche' hanno un ampio parcheggio e per chi si muove con i mezzi pubblici, questo posto e' facilmente raggiungibile a piedi perche' si trova a pochi minuti dalla fermata della metropolitana Porto di Mare.
