Traditional, rustic food with plenty of flavor. Very good homemade Limoncello. Absolutely no tourist trap. A place you'll come to when you're on vacation and want an excellent traditional meal.

The food served at this trattoria on the outskirts of Noto, open only for lunch, is excellent. The large house appetizer for two is delicious, and the seasoned bread is excellent. The fusilli with pesto and tomatoes are delicious, and the blancmange and lemon jelly desserts are excellent. The atmosphere is simple and informal, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

La casa Rossa, situata a poca distanza da Noto, è un locale che merita assolutamente di essere visitato. Il cibo è davvero ottimo , con una qualità straordinaria che si riflette in ogni piatto. Il servizio è impeccabile, con personale cordiale e attento alle esigenze dei clienti.

sempre su indicazione dei miei figli, che ci vanno spesso, abbiamo voluto provare questa trattoria. l'aspetto esterno un pò decrepito non deve scoraggiare. siamo stati benissimo, abbiamo solo dovuto stare attenti a non esagerare con le portate, tutte squisite.poi considerando il prezzo, veramente a portata di tutti, il messaggio è che si può pranzare bene senza strangolarsi

10/10/2025: We loved this place. Small cozy yet it is full of warmth. Wished the menu had more choices but with what they had it was very tasty and fresh. Loved their fried stuffed sardines with pine nuts and raisins. Their server was amazing and very friendly. Would definitely go back again.

04/10/2025: It remains my favorite restaurant in Ortigia! We were here four years ago, and things were a lot different back then. Different owner, differently designed entrance area, different menu. But it was already very good then, and it's fantastic today! They take great pride in sourcing everything locally from small producers of the highest quality. You can taste it! Everything is freshly prepared upon order, and all dishes can be customized to your liking. The service is attentive and competent, and the ambiance in the "wine cellar" is lovely. At the end of the evening, you can buy the olive oil, wine, sparkling wine, or spirit that tasted best and take it home with you. An excellent place for a wonderful day with delicious food and great drinks!
