23/06/2025: Lunch at Anna's was truly a Sunday joy. From the classic checked tablecloths to the baskets with fresh bread and breadsticks, the setting and hospitality is just like a Sunday family lunch. The staff immediately welcomes you warmly, puts you at ease and advises, taking into account all your needs. The à la carte menu is very varied with typical dishes from the Piedmontese tradition and the ingredients are of excellent quality with an unparalleled price-value ratio, especially considering the fact that the pasta is strictly handmade! There is the option of taking a menu with 3 appetizers (veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad and flan), a first course (choice between Tajarin or plin), a second course and a pre-set side dish, a dessert (choice between three) for 35 euros, wine not included.
Surely, it would have been a very convenient choice, but to have more possibilities to range, each of us took a mixed appetizer (composed of veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad, Fassone tart, Spinach tart with fondue) and a First course (Gnocchi with Castelmagno or ravioli with sage butter according to Anna's recipe) or a second course (stewed rabbit) Plus the dessert (meringue with strawberries, even if the hazelnut cake with zabaglione was very inspiring) and finally, wine and water at the same price.
The dishes are cooked with a special attention and care, like those that grandmothers cook according to traditions that have been handed down for a long time, especially in the use of condiments, resulting in a simple and light cuisine.
This place is truly one of those places that stays in your heart, where you go at least once a year, because between the good food and the staff, you really feel like you are returning to have lunch with your family.
