Trattoria Caprese In Trieste

Very good pizza, light and tasty. Excellent location. The only flaw is that the menu could be more varied.

In less than 3 days visiting Trieste, my sister and I chose this place to delight our palates after sunset for two nights in a row. There must be a good reason, right? 🍕😋🍺🍝🍅 Our father is Sicilian, our mother is French, and we've both lived in Ireland for about 15 years. But the smell of buffalo mozzarella, Sammarzano, and broccoli rabe made us stumble upon this restaurant, where not only is the service fast, but the staff is super welcoming (thank you Antonio), kind, and good "advisers" when choosing dishes. We had a great time and enjoyed your delicacies, licking our lips. Kudos to the pistachio and cantaloupe! If life brings us back to beautiful Trieste, we'll rush back to order a good pizza with a ricotta crust.... So delicious. I recommend the Neapolitan fried food and the tiramisu (even if it's dusted with too much chocolate) 😋 If I could recommend something, I'd remove the hideous paper tablecloths and replace them with traditional red checkered tablecloths, perhaps with fewer bright neon lights and more candles and warm, soft lighting everywhere. ...and a little background music with pleasant Neapolitan music. 😉 See you soon. Right in the city center, a tourist-friendly proposal.

Pizza was very good. I oredered vegeterian one and even if it looked very green it was very delicious. It is fairly busy so take your time. Service friendly even though our waiter had so many tables. Prices are ok for this quality and location. I would visit again.

The place is not bad, the food is good, especially the pizza,but it could use a little tidying up and cleaning.Desserts are good too.

Not far from Piazza Unità d'Italia, this pizzeria is located. As soon as we entered, they offered us a small glass of Prosecco, without the Neapolitan cuoppi. Equally, the fried pizzas we ate were delicious; they melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was very fast (we waited just enough). It's a shame about the Indian waiter, who, while delivering the dishes from the table behind us, stepped on my coat and stained it with frying oil. I didn't say anything to the waiter, simply because I didn't want to cause any problems. I recommend making a reservation to facilitate the waiters' service.

A genuine place where you can enjoy REAL Neapolitan PIZZA, with absolute quality, kind and competent staff and with appetizing culinary proposals.

This restaurant deserves a high rating. The waiter was helpful, kind, and courteous. The service was excellent and punctual, and of course, the food was delicious. If I gave this rating, it's mainly because of the waiter, who impressed me with his good manners and excellent service.

I am in F&B business, and this is one of the best services I gave ever received in my life in a restaurant. Food is very good, prices fair and service is incredible! Recomend...
