04/12/2024: We arrived in Venice late at night, and our hotel concierge recommended a nearby restaurant because there weren't many other options. We found the staff friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was charming and clean, with lovely background music. The pizza and pasta were exceptional; the pasta was full of flavor, and the pizzas were fantastic, especially the Roman-style pizza. We enjoyed it so much that we returned before leaving Venice. The service was consistently excellent. I wish we had a restaurant like this in California; it would surely be very popular. However, I suppose I'll have to return to Venice to experience it again.
