We ate the best meal on our first night in Rome. The food made us want to dive in and live there forever. It's as timeless as the Coloseum. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was calm and lovely.

I was invited, together with a rather large group, for a birthday.
We ate appetizers and first courses (I tried the "pajata" for the first time and I was amazed by how delicate and good it was) together with some good wine.
It is a typical Roman trattoria but of a high standard.
Expensive, but what you pay returns to your plate in the form of typical delicacies of Roman cuisine.
I recommend it for a business lunch or a romantic dinner (perhaps based on tripe 😅).
Excellent quality cuisine!

Situata in una via tranquilla, offre piatti della cucina romana e non solo. Carbonara e coda alla vaccinara sopra ogni aspettativa. Abbacchio molto buono e cotto alla perfezione. Cameriere gentilissimo. Mi ha suggerito un sauvignon laziale fantastico e ad un prezzo onesto. Conto appena sopra la media ma adatto alla qualità del cibo ed al servizio.

I go there every year in May. Traditional Roman cuisine in the Porta Pia area. Low prices and generous portions. Eat the Cadorna appetizer between two otherwise you won't have room for anything else...

Wonderful spot! Definitely feels like a more authentic Roman dinner than many other spots in the city. They have a large wine selection as well. All the food was delicious and very affordable.

I ate some very good rigatoni alla pajata and the atmosphere reminded me of typical Roman trattorias (it was no coincidence that the place was full of locals). Highly recommended.

If you don't know it's there it's a bit difficult to find it, but whoever finds it eats really well!!!! It's not very cheap, but not very expensive either, I took a Roman artichoke, a gricia, a carbonated mineral water and a small bottle of red wine and I spent 31 euros, which in any case are absolutely worth the quality of the dishes

Trattoria con cucina romana tradizionale a circa 1 km da via Veneto., con piatti da noi scelti uno ottimo (1 rigatoni alla vaccinara), altri discreti (2 trippe alla romana), altri così così (1 amatriciana straunta e 1 puntarelle dure).
