Everything was good, except the straecca was a little overcooked for medium rare. The bill didn't match the list prices posted here... We basically ended up paying 30 euros more 🤔

A simple, clean restaurant with tables for about 50 people. Absolutely home-cooked food, Venetian cuisine. I've known it for years and return every now and then. It's a shame it's no longer open on Sunday evenings. Very reasonable prices, affordable for everyone. Definitely worth a visit. During the week, they offer a fixed-price lunch menu.

A small restaurant run by an elderly couple. The finishings are a bit dated but the food and the service deserve a visit. So simple that the restaurant does not even have a menu they just tell you what they have available for the day. A must visit if you are in the area.

Trattoria River

07/12/2025: How lucky we weren't able to book a dinner in central Padua!!!!!!! Ten minutes away, this trattoria offers a family atmosphere, impeccable, friendly, and courteous staff, and traditional Venetian dishes. The daily specials are rich and tempting. We'll be back in February for the cicadas with coral, and by the way...the cuttlefish in ink was superb!!! Highly recommended!!!!
03/12/2025: I'll start with the most important thing: the ingredients: incredibly fresh and expertly cooked. Hats off. The staff are very helpful and friendly, never intrusive. A quiet place where you feel at ease, even if a little old-fashioned, but that's fine. I recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back.
