A culinary experience of the highest level... selected foods and care in assembling them... it is difficult to find a cuisine around that tastes of tradition like the two dwarfs.... my wife and I had wood-fired grilled meat, grilled lamb, raw ham that melted in your mouth and a traditional Irpinia appetizer of broccoli and bread... exceptional to say the least... and to finish a homemade dessert with buffalo ricotta, pistachio and chocolate and a passito all'aglianico (fantastic)...excellent service from the excellent Flavio....my wife wants to return for our wedding anniversary....and I've said it all....

We are in Ariano Irpino in a small and delightful trattoria. They welcomed us in a sublime way not only with excellent manners but above all with professionalism and dedication. We started lunch with an appetizer: pancotto with broccoli and anchovy sauce, delicious 😋, culatello that melted in your mouth... without words. We continued the meal with grilled lamb with pan-fried chicory, not only very fresh but with a "garden in the back" flavor. Grilled steak cooked in blue accompanied at the table by potatoes cooked on the grill... delicious combination. All inebriated by an excellent primitivo from Manduria. Grand finale with a dessert created by the chef with buffalo ricotta, chocolate chips and pistachios with a drop of elderberry. Delicious strawberries with a very sweet and timeless flavour...here I really "recreated myself": Aglianico passito with pieces of dark chocolate and cantuccini...excellence. We thank Flavio, the owner and Claudio the waiter... It's very true we entered as Brontolo and left as Mammolo... thank you very much 😘

Really pleasant experience at the “Due Nani” restaurant. Wide choice of fish and meat dishes of unquestionable quality. Wide choice of wines too. Really very nice environment that fully reflects the Irpinian tradition. The buffalo cream cheese with pistachio and chocolate is excellent. Impeccable service. Flavio and his staff are truly professional. We passed through Ariano Irpino and decided to trust this place also on the advice of one of our relatives and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We will definitely visit again in the future. Keep it up.

Manual welcome, service and customer treatment. The only point to review is the price list on the menu, it should be updated, it does not correspond to the real prices that will be paid at the cash register, even if at the end of the menu it is specified that some dishes may be subject to price increases. The customer must know how much the dish will actually cost, otherwise excellent. Advised.

Heartfelt congratulations to the whole team, both in the kitchen and in the dining room: you can see that the work here is done with love and dedication. Each course arrived at the table impeccable, not only in presentation, but also in flavours. It's one of those experiences that you remember and are worth every penny. If I really have to make a small suggestion, I would do it on the menu: it would be useful to have a clear idea of ​​the prices or combinations available, such as "starter + first course + second course" at a pre-established figure. This would help customers to orient themselves better and organize themselves with the budget, but I underline: the quality was such as to leave no doubt about the validity of the choice. Overall, highly recommended! A trattoria that knows how to be remembered and that is absolutely worth the visit. I can't wait to go back this summer because there's a nice little garden outside...
