Service was great, they were very attentive. The vibe here is lovely (granted my girlfriend and I sat outside on the patio on a sunny day with 70 degree weather drinking spritz’s). The food was also delicious, not the best I’ve ever had, but solid nonetheless. Worth stopping by for lunch or even potentially dinner. Would recommend.

I highly recommend Borgo Antico if you are in the Piazza Santo Spirito area of Florence. The pizza and salads are delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. You get the authentic Florence experience.

26/08/2025: Delicious! We enjoyed creamed cod on black polenta with marinated onions, tagliatelle with octopus ragù, anchovies, and fried flowers with a spicy sauce that paired perfectly. The desserts were not only delicious but also beautiful. Everything was cooked with care and attention, presented with meticulous attention, and enriched with a touch of creativity that surprises without ever being overwhelming. A special mention for the hospitality of the owner and chef: with his smile and kindness, he immediately makes you feel at home in his restaurant. (The photos are just of the desserts... I got distracted eating without wasting time 😅). Bravo, Hiron! 👏 We'll definitely be back.
