The trattoria par excellence, with generous dishes, a great atmosphere 😃, and very fair prices, all complemented by the kindness of the staff. It never disappoints (the duck bigoli is a must!).

Please don't order the full menue unless you are a very good eater and hungry. All courses were really delicious but we were not able to finish and I consider myself a good eater.

Excellent trattoria, the food is good, the place is located practically on a private road, it's quaint, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the value for money is exceptional. I recommend the trattoria to everyone. We'll definitely be back.

Very good dishes in this restaurant with extra good prices The portions are very generous. Better to book. We arrived early and found a place, but those who arrived after us if they hadn't booked they were sent away.

Queste sono le recensioni che adoro scrivere perché come EL nel sito devo essere obiettivo e dare il massimo dei voti non è così frequente. Ho capito subito che mi trovavo in una trattoria che aveva qualcosa da dire quando al mio arrivo stavano per aprire e c’era già gente che aspettava fuori. Nel giro di poco tempo il locale era pieno. Abbiamo preso un generoso antipasto di salumi misti accompagnato con polenta e funghi e una giardiniera, un primo (non meno di 150g di pasta, una grigliata per due bella abbondante un contorno, 2 acqua, 1/4 di vino sorbetto e caffè per 63€ in 3. Tutto buono e come detto abbondante. Lo consiglio!

14/11/2025: This restaurant offers a €26 fixed menu, including a first and second course from a selection of dishes (there are many traditional dishes). The dishes are excellent, and the portions are reasonable for the price. The staff is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very homey, but the bathroom is the only downside, as it's small and poorly maintained.
11/11/2025: A must visit in Verona. It’s the city's oldest osteria, housed in a 13th-century palace where, legend says, Romeo lived! EUR26 for 2 courses. We tried donkey meat, hot pasta, horse steak and veal & mushrooms and all were great. We get the feeling they prefer to keep to locals only so don’t expect 5 star service but we were respectful and received lovely service & smiles. Don’t stay too long and book or go early because the place is packed. The toilet is a squat toilet so be warned it’s not fine dining. Very authentic and cheapest price for a very warm, hearty and homey meal in a historically significant place. We loved it.

15/10/2025: Nice atmosphere with several rooms. The service is good, as is the food.
14/10/2025: We dined here for the first time. In the evening, they offer a tasting menu with a price tag and fixed courses (not specified on the menu, so you're a bit surprised). We chose the 4-course and 3-course menu, with sorbet and dessert. All the tastings are offered as second courses. The food is good, and the dishes are varied. Let's just say we were lucky with the first courses, but not so much with the second courses. The atmosphere in the dining room is very intimate and charming. The waiters are all very kind and knowledgeable. A good experience.
