Excellent traditional Bolognese cuisine and friendly, helpful staff. Eating in the fresh air, it has a covered veranda, and surrounded by the noise of crickets is perfect for spending a nice evening.

Simple and quiet place a few km from the heat of Bologna. Friendly and efficient staff. There is a lot to improve on the food. Believers and are more like Neapolitan grown pasta, large, chunky and "bready". Fillet requested rare arrived well cooked, English roast beef also overcooked. The fries were good.

Great food in a simple environment. Very authentic local cuisine, with homemade pastas and delicious fried vegetables. The wine of the house is quiete good too. The owner is a very sweet and interesting lady. All the pictures on the wall were taken by her during her numerous safaris in Africa. Lovely experience!

you eat well; shame only for a slightly overcooked noodle. but it is a place, as a trattoria should be, where the menu offers few things but done well. The crescentine are excellent.

This trattoria was recommended to be by the host where I was staying It has been run by the same family for over 100 years. A proper authentic Italian village trattoria. When I arrived the restaurant was empty but the head lady came out of the kitchen and said she would get her son who was in the other room as he spoke better English. I followed her — a joyful welcome roared out and it looked like the whole village was watching football. I was welcomed as a local and watched the last twenty minutes which to the delight of most, Bologna beat Roma 3-1 playing away in Rome. I then went to the restaurant and just asked to be fed. I had tagliatelle with ragu and tortellini washed down with red vino and crème brûlée . The food was amazing service brilliant and the friendliness of the staff made the whole experience memorable. For a taste of real Italy GO HERE. I will be back
