We ate very well, the portions were super generous and the service was always available even though we arrived at 2 PM! Highly recommended.

Lunch at Trattoria Aurora in Lovere was overall very pleasant, in a simple and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a leisurely lunch. The service was friendly and there were no long waits, which is always appreciated. For my appetizer, I chose the beef carpaccio with arugula and parmesan: a generous portion, fresh and tender meat, well-seasoned and very tasty, one of the best dishes of the lunch. For the first course, the paccheri with shrimp was decent but a bit bland; perhaps it lacked a bit of character or flavor to make it more impactful. On the other hand, the mushroom and Bagòss risotto was excellent, just the right amount of creaminess, flavorful, and with a perfect balance between the mushroom flavor and the bold cheese. Prices were normal for the area and the type of cuisine offered, and adequate for the quality. Overall, a positive experience, with some dishes that were successful and others that could be improved, but definitely a place to return to, especially for the risotto.
