I returned to this tavern after many years. How wonderful! Everything the same, the true Livorno soul. A sincere, frank and genuine cuisine: nothing more, nothing less. Here they don't need to demonstrate, here they are part of the maritime culinary history of a city that lives on the sea. Pure emotion.

A Livorno, per lavoro con un gruppo di colleghi abbiamo deciso di cenare in una trattoria "tipica" con menù a base di pesce. Viste le chiusure domenicali e le recensioni per lo più positive della Trattoria Antico Moro, abbiamo prenotato; unici clienti della serata, abbiamo ordinato un antipasto e un primo; l'odore di pesce e molluschi "andati" ha scoraggiato molti di noi; presentazione dei piatti pessima. Mi domando come si fa a dare più una stella a questo ristorante che va evitato assolutamente

Siamo venuti a pranzo io e mio marito proprio per mangiare il cacciucco e siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti, il migliore che abbiamo mangiato! Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la cortesia del personale e la velocità con cui ci hanno servito.
Torneremo ad assaggiare anche altri piatti.

All very good. Sweet and welcoming staff, even with my little dog. Really good food, discovered by chance! But the things that happen by chance are always the best.
Even in terms of food. Highly recommended and I would happily return.

We came to this place by chance and were greeted with a big smile. If we had to rely on the kindness of the staff we would give a thousand stars. But unfortunately the caciucco (paid 28 euros per dish) and fried food were nothing special, especially the latter which was very white and not very tasty. We don't recommend french fries. We had dinner almost disgusted because in the corridor leading to the bathroom you almost pass by the kitchen and the smell and conditions were not the best. We made the mistake of going there before we started eating.

It was recommended to us by a friend who had lived in Livorno for a couple of years, about twenty years ago, quite a few. Friendly staff although a little nagging about "what to order next" while we were still eating the previous dish. The cacciucco arrived at the next table while we were still eating the appetizer, much to the surprise of the customers. Despite everything it wasn't bad even if expectations were much higher. Medium-high prices

Having stumbled upon it by chance, we were surprised by the genuineness and authenticity of this ancient trattoria. Excellent traditional Livorno food, fresh fish, spectacular cacciucco, friendly environment. It's a small corner of old Livorno, where time seems to have stopped!
