We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely, peaceful evening with delicious food and good wine. The value for money was very good, and I thought the breaded seafood was top-notch.

A treasure trove just steps from the center of Como. The restaurant is welcoming, with attention to detail and a family atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service was attentive and friendly, without ever being intrusive. The menu offers dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, yet simple and authentic, carefully presented and with a perfect balance of flavors. Culinary offerings that appeal to both adults and children. Osteria Antichi Sapori is a place I will definitely return to and one I can recommend without hesitation. Compliments to the entire staff.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The ingredients are high-quality and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. Highly recommended!

Nothing to add: we had seafood appetizers, mixed fried fish, both the special and the regular ones, and a cutlet and fries for the little girl. What can I say? "A great discovery." You won't be disappointed; excellent value and great customer service.

09/10/2025: A very unique place, set up like a shop selling local products—wines, preserves, pasta, etc., displayed on shelves all around and organized by region—with a delicatessen/delicatessen-style counter at the entrance and tables in the center for on-the-go dining. I went there for an aperitif with a friend who knew it. We opted for two glasses, which were served with a small plate of coppa and pecorino cheese with some croutons, all a bit limited. The atmosphere feels a bit dated and could use a makeover. The products are good but could use some updating. Let's just say the place should perhaps be more distinctive overall. The service, however, is friendly, so I'm giving it 4 stars out of encouragement. Before recommending it, I'd like to return to check it out more...
20/07/2025: We stumbled upon this gem exploring google maps reviews looking for some nice place to eat on a Sunday in July. We lowed everything about the place. The food was tasty and the owners really nice and helpful with recommendations. You can feel the good vibe here. Parking spots are available right in front of the place.

Ristorante La Contrada

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were excellent, and the interior was cozy. A very nice and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again and asked us if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was okay. And it was! As we left, we made sure to thank him personally once again! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much!
