A movie-like location, with an antique feel and expertly renovated.
The owners are very attentive, patient, and extremely kind.
The cuisine is good and authentic; you can even find tortellini here in the summer...
The staff serving the tables are the same owners, which makes all the difference.
Free parking is available nearby, but in my opinion.
The only negative: I urgently needed to notify someone, but there were network issues (Wind3). I asked if it was possible to connect to their Wi-Fi, but they told me they didn't have it... too bad the router was in plain sight...
Sometimes a little effort is all it takes to get the fifth star!

Not easy to get to, but it's definitely worth it. Excellent starters, main courses, and side dishes. Reservations are a must if you don't want to go home. It was packed on Sundays.

We happened upon this restaurant one evening, prompted by the numerous positive reviews from friends.
Due to the cold evening, the place was almost deserted; we later discovered that it's much busier at lunchtime and on weekends.
The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, reminiscent of the old mountain inns that once welcomed travelers along the Apennine routes: a simple, warm, and unpretentious atmosphere.
The first courses truly won us over—authentic flavors, well-executed, and worthy of a second visit.
The mixed grill, however, was a bit disappointing: the meat was dry and didn't give the impression of having been freshly prepared. This is understandable, perhaps, given the low attendance that evening... but in that case, it would be best not to offer it except on busy evenings.
Overall, a place with potential and good food, which probably shines best when the dining room is bustling and the grill is blazing.

Our latest recent experience with a group of eight people was for dinner on a Friday. This trattoria has an old-world feel, is warm and welcoming, and nestled in the tranquility of the Bolognese hills (which in summer makes it easy to dine in the cool of the patio in front of the restaurant, which was once a summer residence of the noble Bentivoglio family of Bologna). Despite its location away from city traffic, reservations are always recommended to avoid wasted time, as those who know it are always happy to return even during the week to enjoy the quiet and good food. We enjoyed a sampling of the first courses (fresh homemade pasta) and then the 1.2kg Florentine steak with a side of baked potatoes, which didn't disappoint those from nearby Tuscany. Among the must-try dishes (besides the Florentine steak for meat lovers), I recommend the torta della nonna... which I personally love (one of the richest and most flavorful creams I've ever eaten). The quality/price ratio (especially if you order the Florentine steak) is absolutely superb. It's worth a trip on its own!
