A very welcoming and friendly place. The menu is limited, but tasty. Reservations are required because it's very busy with local workers. It's a classic place where it's pleasant to meet other diners and have a pleasant conversation.

Once upon a time, you'd look for trattorias frequented by truck drivers: good, traditional, plentiful food, without the frills of a Michelin-starred chef, fair prices, generally family-run...these were TRATTORIAS! ...and this is a real TRATTORIA!! 3 first courses and 3 second courses described verbally and which change daily. If you don't book, you risk not finding a table because the people who work nearby eat here...and that says it all (see the truck drivers entry above). I came as a tourist off-season; if I could, I'd come every day. I don't want to comment on the price, otherwise they'll end up raising it (in the city you barely get a pizza...maybe). PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE!!

It's exactly what you'd expect from a trattoria. No "gourmet" dishes and decent prices. I loved it.
