I was in Cornappo for the earthquake. I was a captain, and with the military, we assembled prefabricated buildings from late January to April. When the work was finished, we offered the soldiers porchetta, and it was a great celebration. I wonder if they remember us. I have fond memories of Alpine soldier Emilio Tomasino.
