A blast from the past at this trattoria. The welcome and service are incredibly warm. The quality/price ratio is truly unbeatable. The boiled meats are amazing.

We were passing through with friends, and we stopped. The place was dated, but given the clientele, we decided to stay because customers are the best advertisement! Ordinary people, workers who want to eat well and pay a fair price...and indeed, that's exactly what happened! The staff, family-run, I think, were friendly and genuine. The young lady recommended the polenta with meat, with her charming and cheerful accent... delicious! And then we also had the tortellini in fantastic broth! Really good coffee. Excellent value for money. Well done!

What a beautiful place...everything is absolutely vintage. The decor, cuisine, and courtesy are typical of times gone by. We ate wonderfully at a truly affordable price. Fun fact: the menus brought to your table are optional...immediately afterward, the waitress says, "Now I'll tell you what's available today!" This is a sign of great quality, as everything is truly made to order, and above all, you can see the care and attention with which it's served. Everything was truly delicious...Congratulations!!!!

What a beautiful, authentic trattoria, just like it used to be! Simplicity, down-to-earthness, the joy of making do with "whatever we have available today" but still knowing you'll love it (see the pasta with ragù, delicious like our grandmothers knew how), without skimping on portions, all in a traditional, no-frills setting that doesn't slouch. With truly fair prices (first courses €6; try finding something this cheap in central Padua, just steps from Prato della Valle). Make a note of it and return next time.

The experience was an excellent example of a bar / trattoria serving local patrons, making it a great way for tourists from Australia to witness Italian life. Hearty meals and very welcoming staff. We also had our morning macchiato here each day.
