Trattoria Alla Vecchia Padella In Sesto al reghena

We were recommended, and compliments to the women who run it... a down-to-earth trattoria, seasonal produce, all typical Romagna fare. Homemade pasta and delicious, tender grilled meat (sliced ​​and picajna). Generous portions and fair prices. There's parking and a wheelchair ramp. Give me a 👍 if my review is helpful.

The GPS suggested a few places to stop for lunch, and among them, the name immediately caught my eye: it gave me a positive, homey feeling. So we decided to give it a try! The two of us entered, along with a large dog, and were greeted with great warmth. Even though we hadn't booked, they found us a spacious table where even Sibilla could sit comfortably and quietly. What can I say: we ate really well. The cuisine is Emilian-style, with a wide selection of dishes, all extremely tasty, from the first bite to the last. The gnocco fritto was wonderful: perfectly piping hot, light, and not at all greasy. The vegetable meatballs were incredibly tender, while the bean and sausage stew literally melted in your mouth. The homemade pasta was a delight! The portions are generous, but despite this, we didn't leave anything on our plates (I admit, I even mopped up the ragù with bread!) The staff is simply fantastic: always smiling and helpful, a quality that's far from a given these days, where everything seems to happen in such a rush. And there was even a cuddle and a warm look for Sibilla. Oh, I almost forgot: there was a celiac person at the table next to us, so with advance notice, gluten-free options are also available. A truly pleasant experience, one to repeat 🥰 (I don't have a photo because I was too busy eating)

Highly recommended! Home-made pasta: the tortelli rossi all'amatriciana are delicious, as are the strozzapreti with cream and sausage, deglazed with Merlot. Try the tagliata with Parmesan fondue. And to top it off, the Portuguese latte. The appetizer of cured meats with gnocco and piadina, ordered from the nearby tables, was very beautiful and plentiful. They were really good, we'll definitely be back. Keep it up!

I went to dinner with some colleagues and we had a wonderful meal. The food, from the piadinas to the pasta, was very well received, and the appetizers were delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming atmosphere, the girls are really friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the platter with piadina and perfectly prepared fried gnocco. The sliced ​​steak was phenomenal. We'll be back.
