Trattoria Alla Grotta In Idro

We stopped at this trattoria for a simple lunch during a trip to Lake Idro. We sat on a veranda with a picture-perfect view of Lake Idro. The service was professional and fast. There's ample parking.

This historic restaurant is perfect for a business lunch or a relaxing moment overlooking the lake. Fried fish, local specialties, and reasonable prices.

We stopped for lunch and were truly delighted. Tagliolini with perch and tagliolini with radicchio and gorgonzola for the first course. For the second course, perch fillet, dessert, and coffee. Excellent value and excellent, very friendly service. The windows also offer a beautiful view of the lake. Congratulations! 👏👏👏

Quiet place. Good food. Maybe a little pricey.

We highly recommend this restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance while cruising around Lake Idro. The service was friendly and hospitable 👍 The food was authentic Italian and very tasty 😋 Excellent value for money. We'd love to go back 👋

The view is wonderful, the girls and the owner are incredibly kind. We stopped by by chance while passing by... The only flaw is the cream in the carbonara. I understand that the customers are probably mostly Germans and Dutch on motorbikes, and in their home country that's normal, but since it's not written on the menu, you can't serve carbonara with cream to an Italian in Italy... That said, the place is perfect... The girls were very kind and the owner was exquisite... For four people: appetizer, 2 carbonaras, 2 chops, 2 beers, 2 cigarettes, 2 coffees, 2 tiramisu, and two bitters, €105... With that view, everything was perfect...

A very popular restaurant among motorcyclists, with a spectacular view of the lake and a traditional/classic menu. Everything is very good. Fair prices.
