Trattoria Alla Colomba In Treviso

A small, unassuming place, but the bollito misto was spectacular and plentiful, so much so that it alone made up for dinner! The raisins in grappa were also excellent. Definitely worth returning.

A delightful restaurant in the center of Treviso, run by the same family for many years with a sense of community and love for their work. Their respect for their customers is palpable. Attentive, expert, delicate, and flavorful cuisine. Typical local dishes and classics like roast beef and veal with tuna sauce are equally matched. Good wine list. Highly recommended.

A little disappointed with the menu. Good food, with an added bonus for the creamed cod: excellent. A little disappointed with the boiled meat (which I'm told is the house specialty). Three pieces of meat thrown in there. In cooking, you eat with your eyes before your mouth. If the plate is large, garnishing it with salad leaves helps make the dish look less plain, or use a smaller plate, which makes the portion seem larger. For the charcuterie board, I recommend offering local cured meats...no mortadella. I found the menu lacking in tradition (except for the bigoi in salsa)...the cacio e pepe ravioli, too... Overall, we ate well, paying about €40 each for two courses, water, and wine.

Holiday lunch with family. Generous and tasty portions. Discreet and attentive service. A great place to meet. The sardines in saor are delicious. The place isn't big. I recommend booking.

A rustic (typical Venetian) and simple trattoria in the center of Treviso. A bit surprised by the prices on the menu (€17 for any appetizer, €17 for any first course, etc.) and the dishes... The rigid menu required a minimum of two people for bigoli, ravioli, or tortellini (which is usually the case with risottos...). For example, €17 for a platter with four slices of salami, two slices of mortadella, two slices of prosciutto, and pickles seems a bit expensive... Friendly and smiling service, but a bit too rushed. On a positive note: the house wine was good!! Overall, adequate, but for the value, I wouldn't return.

I always eat well, with generous portions. Good home cooking. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Excellent and generous portions

I ended up here by chance with my partner, even though I was born and raised in Treviso I had never been here, but I must say that I felt at home in everything, from the dishes that reminded me of the typical Venetian cuisine in the dishes that my grandmother also prepared, to the atmosphere of the place and the very careful and attentive service, very courteous and helpful staff, we will definitely be back.

Generous portions and remarkable quality. I had the guinea fowl and struggled to finish it. The artichokes as a side are highly recommended!
