Beautiful place with a view of the square and all the beautiful houses and churches that are there... we ate really well, the service was excellent, a 10 for the place, beautiful to see, a 10 for the owner and a 10 for the waiters....

Eravamo in 3 ed abbiamo preso antipasto di trota e sarde in saor..poi gnocchi al ragu' e seppie in umido..i miei amici invece gnocchi e carne...acqua vino e caffe'.....staff cortese e gentile.Materie prime di buona qualita'.Ero ospite quindi non conosco il conto.

Returning from a business trip, I look for a place to eat in Vittorio Veneto. I come across the trattoria, which instinctively inspires me. Service ok, nothing special. Menu presented on a tablet that can also be viewed from your smartphone since it is on their website. Common dishes, sardines in saor, gazpacho, burrata with anchovies and tomatoes, sopressa with caponata, gnocchi with gorgonzola or tomato, spaghetti all'amatriciana, pasta with ragù, lasagna, stewed octopus, stewed meatballs, roast pork in milk, roast beef with mustard. I decide on the sardines (3 pieces) and sopressa (three slices), my son a lasagna and stewed meatballs. The sardines are delicious, made to order. Good sopressa, caponata no. Lots of oil and a strange taste, in fact after six hours he is still wondering whether to go down or come back up. The meatballs (3) are passable. Coffee, a bottle of water, 1/4 of wine, 3€ covers (for a paper placemat), 70€ for two. I honestly wouldn't go back.

A beautiful dinner on the occasion of the Palio delle botti! We had the pleasure of trying first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts in this wonderful square! The tagliatelle with duck ragù and the guanciatta are highly recommended! What can I say, everything is absolutely delicious, a spectacular location but above all an unforgettable service thanks to Rachele and Giada! They followed us from the preparation of the table to the coffee, and it is rare to find people so smiling and attentive to the customer even at the end of the day, a truly special thank you!

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Abend in der Trattoria alla Cerva verbracht. Das Essen war durchweg lecker und frisch zubereitet – von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der aufmerksame und freundliche Service, der stets zur Stelle war, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Die Wartezeiten zwischen den Gängen waren angenehm kurz, sodass der Abend einen schönen, entspannten Fluss hatte. Auch preislich fanden wir das Angebot absolut fair und angemessen für die gebotene Qualität. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die in Vittorio Veneto authentisch und entspannt essen möchten!

30/06/2025: I return to this restaurant after years with good memories that unfortunately have not been confirmed, in particular I believe that there has been an inconsiderate increase in prices, at least for what has been my experience. We went to lunch with colleagues and we had to wait a long time before being served, strange because we arrived practically at 2 pm and there were not many people anymore. Encouraged by a colleague's salad with prawns we "copied the idea" in two but we were disappointed because our prawns were significantly smaller than those seen shortly before. The further disappointment comes when it comes to paying the bill: 18 euros for two leaves of salad placed in a deep plate with some prawns on top... in any other place the salads are more abundant and cost less anyway... in any case I will return to try the pasta again even if I don't think in summer because it is dying of heat, at least outside. I still give 3 stars because I remain eternally nostalgic.

Osteria Ragazzi del '99

10/07/2025: Montello has taught me many things this year. Among these things, it has taught me not to look at the surface and to wait. People are as you see them, and above all, they love their work, which they carry forward with dignity. The two brothers who run everything here with their family are an example of this. They don't pay attention to external trends but prefer to provide genuine, simple products to their customers, among whom are especially the Montello workers but also numerous cyclists who appreciate the little garden with its evergreen tree and wisteria pergola. I always have a "breakfast brunch/breakfast snack"—coupling coffee, juice, and cured meats: —it could be a sandwich, a toasted sandwich, or a cicchetto! Now that I've gotten used to the taste of these local cured meats, I can't eat cured meats anywhere else! They're truly delicious, and that's coming from someone who doesn't eat many cured meats... A good prosecco and a good red wine, or a spritz of your choice... Come and...wait for the bells to ring 12 "La Canzone della Piave"! After that, the bar usually closes and reopens in the afternoon :) A choice that ensures people respect local customs and then appreciate the countless walks in the surrounding area, perhaps with a historical eye...
24/04/2025: We decided to spend an Easter Monday on Montello, the problem was, where to go to eat? One place was already fully booked, we hadn't booked anywhere. Another well-known children's play place on Overview was packed! So we continued and found this nice Osteria. The place is new, six years old, clean and tidy, pleasant inside. The guys who serve are kind. Outside it has tables in front and next to it under a pergola. It offers sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and fresh, very tasty cold cuts and cheese platters. I would only say that the bathroom is not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
