Small place located in a very small village on the outskirts of Volterra. Had a divinely good dinner with traditional Tuscan dishes in a simple but refined environment with the very kind owner and waitress. I highly recommend it to those who prefer substance and not form

The village is worth a visit even just for the friendliness and hospitality of its inhabitants. Unfortunately, however, the restaurant did not completely convince us. We didn't understand if it's under new management, because you can't see the name of the restaurant from the outside, as the sign is missing as in the photos. We liked some dishes, others didn't particularly impress us, others were a bit heavy. The service could improve: sometimes an extra smile is enough to change the experience and make even the moment of emptying your wallet pleasant! And yet the bill in the end seemed a little excessive to us compared to what we ate. I hope the place manages to realize its potential better in the future.

This hidden village and the restaurant represents the atmosphere of authentic and cozy Tuscany in the best way. You will find a very tasty food and wine. It is a great pleasure to discover such a place with very friendly people. This is a treasure for a real traveler.

characteristic place. in a tiny village. excellent pappardelle with wild boar and dessert with apples. Prices are now like in almost all good restaurants. In my opinion a little high. But I will definitely return here

04/05/2025: Phenomenal service and food. We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around looking for a place for dinner. We ordered a liter of the house wine, which was amazing and we ordered bruschetta and two pastas and a tiramisu. Everything was phenomenal Both the food and the service. You must visit when you’re in Pisa.

27/05/2025: Popped in as we saw it was busy as we passed and we were hungry ! What a good choice. The welcoming decor, fresh fish on display. Varied menu choices, polite waiting staff, delicious food.
