We came here based on a recommendation. What a delight! Visually and gustatorily. We had a delicious appetizer platter for two, and the tagliatelle with rabbit ragu was delicious, and the steak was perfect. The service was very friendly. Thank you! 🤩

Albana is a guarantee of good, carefully prepared cuisine. Excellent selection of matching wines. There are special evening events in the piazza; if you happen to dine there, the atmosphere is truly unique. Open year-round, it's worth traveling a few kilometers to dine here. A scenic drive and a charming, tidy village.

We had dinner with friends at the trattoria. Arriving in the village was wonderful: the sunset over Volterra was splendid, as was the view of the surrounding countryside. It made you forget the crowds of Siena and San Gimignano. The service at the trattoria was excellent. The menu was typically Tuscan. I loved my cacio e pepe.

Charming Village Dining.
We ate here several times during a week for lunch and dinners. Varied menu with excellent flavours and presentation is stylish and elegant. Service is friendly and efficient with multiple languages spoken. I would highly recommend. There is also a small Locanda/cafe 50m away for pre-dinner drinks run by the same team.

I ate here a dozen times in a week - both lunch and dinner, so there were plenty of opportunities for the restaurant to drop the ball. Not once - the food and service were exceptional as you can tell from my 5 star billing. The peaceful hill-top setting of Mazzolla only adds to the atmosphere. A hidden gem.

Insieme a mia moglie sono stato in questo locale pochi giorni fa. Spartano ma pulito, sorge in una struttura che un tempo, nel XIX secolo , ospitava un ricovero per carri. Il gestore del locale non disdegna di fare due parole con gli ospiti.
Da sottolineare la squisitezza dei primi piatti, per giunta anche abbondanti.
