Highly recommended! Had a great meal, excellent food. From the outside it doesn't make you want to enter but it's worth it. It was a really nice surprise. The service very good. The price is good compared to the prices around. Alas, it's a shame that I live far away, otherwise I would go back often!!

Welcoming restaurant, essential in its furnishings with important solid wood tables and a suggestive wooden ceiling which together constitute the predominant feature of the restaurant, which therefore does not need other superfluous furnishing accessories. The gastronomic experience is extraordinary, in a risky but absolutely successful combination of particular ingredients that you would never think could go together, such as the watermelon entrée with a hint of mustard and olives, or the aubergine with pear, goat cheese and pumpkin , or even pumpkin tortelli created with the pumpkin itself, thinly sliced ​​and filled with exquisite cheese combined with egg yolk. In short, a unique experience even for the most demanding palates. Another note, in my opinion not negligible and for which credit certainly goes to the owners of the restaurant, is that, in this place, regular guests greet the diners already present in the room. Highly recommended for those who want to experiment with seemingly unusual, but absolutely spot-on combinations.

Second generation management. 30 years ago it was very different. Sparse menu, little choice and particular with a cocoa cappuccino flavored (with a lot of imagination) of mushrooms and a small dry brioches for €11. The rest is home cooking. The dessert is very good. I'm so sorry. Always beautiful location and impeccable service.

We always return to the Vecchio Faggio, for our anniversary. Always good, tasty food and served professionally.
